We started our enrolment with Aurora in 2020 with my first daughter and then my second daughter in 2022. Educators were all lovely, caring, very accomodating, received feedback well and listened to our concerns. We have since left the service as it is too pricey for the quality of care we received.Pros:- Flexible with changing days of attendance- The design of the centre has a great flow and is a very calming spaceCons:- Seamist Studio (0-3 years) does not work well for all children. My oldest did not take well to the environment and was very quiet and reserved until she moved to a more age appropriate room at 2 years old, but my youngest did quite well.- High staff turnover. In one year, they went through 3 managers, all left within 3 months of starting. Educators would resign and they would be selective with who they announced leaving. I raised this with them and they said it was because of admin issues. It didn’t give us a chance to say goodbye as my children and I had developed some great relationships with these educators.- Portion sizes they serve the kids is abysmal. If your child isn’t a fast eater they will miss out on second servings. My oldest is a slow eater and I watched her ask for her second serve but they had run out of food because another kid had his 5 servings. Through the 3 years we’ve been there, the snacks they receive have been the same, no variation. The same rockmelon, watermelon, apple and rice crackers.- Two gastro outbreaks within the span of two months and not contained in a timely manner. Reinfections were happening and communication of infections was slow to reach families, forcing parents to create a WhatsApp group to stay informed. I raised this with one of the managers at the time and they seemed quite blasé about it just said it was a community outbreak. Other centres in the community had it under control in a week.- Towards the end of 2022, my 3 year olds room leader (Moonbeam studio) had left suddenly and they didn’t replace her and left one of the other educators to run the room by herself. If it wasn’t for her, the entire experience would be trash to be quite honest as the quality of care had already dropped.- No daily updates from November 2022 updates so I had no idea what my child was up to during the day or what they were learning. Raised this with them and what was promised was not delivered.- My kids would often come home with crusty noses if they had a runny nose that day. Hygiene and cleanliness didn’t seem like it was a priority for them. Or they were just too lazy to wipe my kids noses.- In my exit interview they offered me a discount to stay only because I had two children who attended 3 days a week. So $169 x 12 days over a fortnight they were loosing. I have two friends who left the same time and they got offered nothing. So equality is not a priority for them even though they pride themselves on caring about families. It’s all about money to them.- They pay for 5 star reviews. If you search further down the reviews to one written about a year ago, you will see this individual was given $50 to write them a glowing review. Take the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt because some of them are also written by staff members.- I was also told by an educator the staff are unhappy and have no say in anything and everything is controlled by the owners. This is why staff are leaving because they don’t get treated well. It’s clear that upper management don’t communicate well with their staff if they are talking to parents. All in all, look around before you enrol here as your choices are endless nowadays. For the fee you are paying at Aurora, at $169 a day you would expect a high standard of care which you won’t get. And that fee will only increase. We are attending another service that charge $30 less and we are very happy with the program and what this service has to offer.

Aurora is an engaging, warm and responsive service, providing high quality care and education to the children. The educators are approachable and professional and always available to discuss anything about their programs and practices.

This is a great childcare and the educators and management are caring and supportive. The facilities are good and there are many activities planned throughout the year to create a fun and positive learning experience. My youngest is currently attending the centre and her older sister also previously attended Aurora. I would recommend this service to anyone in the area looking for a high quality childcare centre.

My child was treated extremely badly at this center, snot was stuck to his face without any care and he came home with stains all over his midsection! The child gave feedback that a staff member at the center named Chanel only took care of one white child and left the other children alone! This is amazingly infuriating! Would never recommend this center to anyone!

We are impressed with the quality of the facilities and the quality of teaching. The educators are loving and caring. Our daughter has been there since she was 6 months old and is attending kinder there. Her vocabulary and speech improved tremendously since she started kinder. Well done to the teachers!

Aurora Early Education Doncaster were warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. Educators have provided excellent care as well as learning and socialization opportunities for school readiness. They were so important to our family during covid restrictions, I will forever be grateful for their support in getting through my son's formative years under such unprecedented circumstances. Aurora is a safe, friendly and welcoming space for my child.

We joined the service about 2 years ago at the time all the staffs were very friendly and welcoming.About midway through 2022 we felt the service have gone downhill especially in my child’s room (Moonbeam). There were constant changes of staff. The communication were very poor we don’t get inform when the educator goes away for a long holiday or we only get inform when the educator is leaving the service on their last few days. With the high turnover of staff it felt like there were no structure in the room my child was in. Also we weren’t getting any highlights of what have happened throughout the day via the app, no photos or anything. Can only assume what they got up to from the dirty clothing they come home with (eg paint all over their clothes). With the on going service like this and for the premium fee we pay. We finally decided it was time to move on.After handing in our exit notice it made me felt it was a great decision. As the management were so poor, I had to psychically chase up with the centre manager a week later to make sure they received my notice because there wasn’t any form of reply to my email. Moreover the service I experienced after handing in our exit notice was more horrific. I had to make multiple phone calls to enquire about my bond refund with empty promises each time that they will do it right away, so I sent emails regarding my enquires and once again no response. But other families that left the service at the same time got phone calls/ emails reply regarding their bond enquires. And also got their bond back with no issues. In addition the other families got offered meetings and even a reduced in fee after they handed in their exit notice whereas we never got any offer. At last I’m very happy to say we are glad we made the decision to move, my child is very happy at our new centre. The experience and the variety of food offered there are great, as well as the fee is a lot more reasonable.

Our daughter has been with Aurora since she was 6 months old, and we're thankful to Aurora teachers both past and present being part of her journey from a crawling baby to a cheerful, confident and helpful toddler. Highly recommend if you're in Doncaster and looking for a childcare provider.

Our son has been attending Aurora now for a year now and has been in the Sea Mist, Moon Beam and is now in Moon Glade Kinder 3 room. We received so much support and guidance as parents and Freddie has thrived with the various extra curricular activities, fantastic facilities and learning as well as the amazing menu which we often are jealous of when we are stuck at work! He’s really connected with the educators, and everyone has a smile and good morning for him when he arrives. It’s a real community and we love being part of it!

Pretty design, sweet talk and other marketing ploys is their way of distracting from most crucial factors: staff ratios and qualifications. Educators are consistently expected to utilise under the roof ratio" on a daily basis with many children with challenging behaviours ~ special needs in every single room. Founders purposely use Across the Service ratio to over book rooms
