Long time to be served food. The vegetables were cool and looked like out of packets from Coles. The steak was very average for $50. My partners wads over cooked. Too their credit they offered to replace but who wants to wait that long again. Our jacket potatoes were hard on the outside and cold, not cool, cold on the insideWe didn't finish our meal.This is our second time being disappointed at this restaurant. For the price you pay its not worth it. Second rate food.

Very disappointed. When we arrived we were almost the only groups there. Our friends ordered at the same time and received their meals in about 20 minutes. Ours took 1 hour and 20 minutes to come out. I queried what was happening twice and they said both times it was a few minutes away and they were very busy, the second time the younger girl at the front bar made excuses and was very abrupt. I had to even prompt her for an apology. When meals finally arrived the venue was say 50% capacity, however new patrons were receiving meals after say 10-15 minutes of arriving and ordering. It was clear our meals had been missed or forgotten however this was never admitted to just excuses and as above no apology. Fairly disappointed with the service here I have taken our staff here previously. Wont be returning, we paid $90 for 2 adults meals, a few drinks and a kids meal to which we received poor service, excuses and a very over tired daughter and not even an offer of a reduced price or compensation for the inconvenience.After seeing new patrons receive meals within 15-20 minutes of arriving I asked a server to see the manager. We waited a further 10 minutes and no manager came out so we decided to leave. On the way out one of the bar staff said the manager was on his way though with a very tired daughter and little to no patience left we decided to leave.As above disappointed with this venue and how the staff handled themselves.

We held a joint 18th and 21st party for my son and daughter with 30 people last night and I can't thank the Kenmore staff enough. When we arrived the tables were beautifully set and the food was wonderful as always. The staff on our tables were excellent and pleasant even when many young children nearing their bed time were noisy and chaotic. Everyone went home happy and my son and daughter loved their night. Thank you so much !

Ambience was good. Food just average. To be fair they did redo some meals. Table service non existent. Our waitress was nice.

Nice ambience. Friendly staff. Ok food. Ordered two stake dishes, a pork dish, and a risotto. Nice place to have a drink and a meal. Presentation of food could be improved for the price charged. Food tasted ok. But such a nice place and ambiance it can certainly improve on food. I am sure it's an honest mistake since it was a busy night. we were overcharged for the drinks. However, the staff was very helpful in getting it sorted.

I'm a huge foodie so often see pub meals as a guilty pleasure, but the food here is actually really nice. It is refined yet hearty and fulfilling. The service here is about as good as you can get, and the atmosphere is on point ever since the renovations. I feel so lucky to have the kenmore as my local :)

FoodFour of us dined, with one toddler on a chilly winter night in June. Ordering can be done via an app and a barcode, or directly with wait staff. We chose the latter, and started with a schooner of my fav Rogers Dark Ale, a pint of Great Northern original and cold drinks for the ladies. For our entrees, we choose the garlic bread ($8) and the salt and pepper calamari ($16). The garlic bread comprised four chunky pieces of bread smothered in butter. The calamari was soft and chewy, but a small serving for 16 pesos. For mains, we went for the prawn spag ($31), fish and chips ($29), beef cheek ragout ($29) and a lamb salad ($23). We finished off with a shared sticky date pud ($13). My fish and chips was a decent portion of succulent hake served with crunchy chips and fresh, wholesome salad. My wife’s beef cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, topped with basil and a creamy sauce, and mixed up in a tasty stew with pappardelle pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our fave sticky date dessert did not disappoint. The pud was moist, yet firm and served with a rich butterscotch sauce and accompanied with a dollop of ice cream and two fresh strawberries.AmbienceThe Kenmore is a large venue with multiple eating and drinking areas. We were dining in the main restaurant area, which had a stylish, elegant and modern look and feel to it, with large round tables and comfy upholstered chairs. Being winter, we sat indoors, but there is also an outdoor terrace which could be ideal in summer. The décor is warm and homely with wooden floors and dark wooden beams on the ceilings and strong lighting. Despite it being a Mon night in mid-winter, there was a decent turnout, and by the time we left at around 7.30pm, most tables were, or had been occupied. The ambience was casual, laid back and relaxed, and despite the crowds, the acoustics were good and we were easily able to converse. Either effective insulation or invisible heating kept the place warm as toast despite it being a chilly night.ServiceThere were a bevy of male and female staff on duty, all neatly turned out in smart uniforms and professional in their attitude. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the pretty maître d and showed to a large round table in the middle of the main dining area. Orders were promptly taken and drinks, entrees and main courses came out in the correct order, although there was a delay of 20 minutes between entrees and main courses. Our chief server was a young gentleman, unfortunately whose name I didn’t get, but he was truly a gem. He was clearly well trained and experienced and it showed because under his guidance everything ran smoothly.CostThis isn’t a cheap place. Schooners of beer can set you back 9 pesos, steaks are in the 40-53 price range. Now I don’t blame Kenmore entirely for this, because we are now experiencing hyperinflation the likes of which we’ve never experienced, thanks to massive overspending by governments and loose monetary policy. In the end, our bill came to 190 pesos and for that we got a couple of drinks, two starters, four mains, one kids meal and one dessert. A few years ago, this would have been 150.SummaryThis is essentially quite an upmarket joint with a stylish and elegant interior design, but retaining that homely neighbourhood vibe where everyone feels comfy and relaxed. Food was first class and the service was polite, friendly and efficient. Add to that, easy parking right outside the venue and ample clean and well provisioned toilets and you have all the ingredients for a fun night out with family or friends.MemoThis hotel is part of the Aust Venue Company’s stable of pubs and hotels. If you join their rewards program, you will earn points each time you dine, but just make sure to order via the app or get the staff to enter your details. I had accumulated enough points prior to this, to score a 50 peso discount.

Very disappointing! On Friday night we waited over an hour for our meals. Meanwhile a steady stream of food was going out of the door for home delivery.Two of the steak dishes came out without the vegetables /salad. My meal was luke warm at best. Staff not overly concerned and tried to charge us for uneaten meal. Well below usual standard.
