I've been seeing Esme since my 1st pregnancy almost 4 years ago. She has seen me through my pregnancies, my postpartum recovery, chronic pain, a slipped disc and a pinched nerve. She is so incredibly passionate & caring and it's easy to see why Pear has become so successful. Esme is the ultimate professional who is an incredible listener & shows so much empathy. She is so passionate about learning & educating and she instills this with everyone that works around and with her. If Esme has anyone working at Pear, you know that they are the best.

Pear has been great for me - I had a lot of anxiety about going initially due to less than amazing experience with medical professionals/allied health but I’m so glad I took the plunge. Thank you Pear ☺️

My specialist suggested I try Pear post endometriosis excision surgery to help with the ongoing chronic pain I was suffering that was not improving with medication alone. I was linked in with Esme, who really took the time to listen and learn about what was happening for me at that time and set realistic goals. I saw her for about 6 months in the studio and was able to continue at home with a plan to increase my physical activity without incurring a huge endo flare. I'm just over 12 months post op now, and I went to the gym for the first time this morning completely pain free! Before seeing Esme I would have a 5 day full flare if I attempted a 20 minute gentle workout. My quality of life is so much better thanks to Esme and the Pear team, thank you for educating me about how my body works and how exercise can be used as a tool to heal. The communication back to my specialist was great. This took the burden off my shoulders of communicating with each of my care providers (when you have chronic pain, this can be a whole lot of people) Thank you for being part of my treatment team. I'll definitely be coming back when we start a family. Thanks Pear!

I had a Postnatal Massage with Courtney and she was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to speak about my pre and post pregnancy issues and targeted the right areas leaving me feeling amazing. She was lovely to speak to and connect with and I will be back for a massage AND the mums and bubs Pilates looked awesome on the way out. Highly recommend!

I attended Pear after the birth of my first baby. The staff were friendly and informative on the phone and the booking system was easy. The facilities are great and the desk staff were very welcoming. However, when I attended the appointment I felt like I wasn’t really listened too and my goals were judged, as they were ambitious. I left feeling really flat and not excited about moving forward with Pear. The first appointment was $125 for a half an hour session and each subsequent appointment is $90 for a ‘review’.I think if you want a conservative approach to getting back into exercise, Pear is perfect for you. If you’re athletic and had an active pregnancy, Pear might not be the right fit, as they almost seem to have a one size fits all approach to postpartum activity and didn’t take into consideration what I was saying and my suggestions for my body. This is just my experience and it might not be the same for everyone. I wish that I was more informed and knew that the approach would be very conservative before I spent the money. I cannot speak for their other services, as I’m sure they are great.

Such a great little gym! I joined while pregnant and really enjoyed the pregnancy reformer and strength classes. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. And the coffee cart is an added bonus. Would highly recommend for anyone pregnant or looking for an alternative to a large, main-stream gym.

I've had a couple of physiotherapy appointments and one exercise physiology appointment so far (with three different professionals) and I highly recommend Pear!Besides being a mom-friendly place (I got to take my toddler with me!) all of them really listened to me and my concerns. They've reassured me and offered help with realistic expectations set - which was great as I tend to expect way too much from things.I found Pear looking for help with my pelvic floor and diastasis recti and I definitely found what I had been looking for!
