Mariners Cove Motel + Apartments at Paynesville

Wonderful place to stay. Rooms are beautiful, beds so comfy, linen excellent. The view is wonderful and the staff very helpful. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Mariners Cove in Paynesville for one night and felt we just had to post a review of this wonderful accommodation.It’s location on the banks of the canal overlooking swans and pelicans swimming up and down was really wonderful as we’d never stayed in a place so close to the waters edge.All the amenities and touches in the room were of very high standard, especially the extremely comfortable bed.The welcome guide gave us lots of tips of the best local walks and places to visit plus the best restaurants to eat in. We highly recommend a stop over in Paynesville and to take the ferry across to Raymond island to walk the koala trail and definitely try to stay at The Mariners Cove if it’s available.

Just stayed the night, prime location close to everything very good rooms. Worth a visit.

Tanya was fantastic in letting us check in last night. She was very hospitable, personable, the details in the cleanliness was very good- no dust in hairdryer filters, remotes were clean, not a single loose hair found in the linen or bathroom. We had the waterfront room with access to the river. We had a great stop over and will definitely come back with the family and hire the two level apartments.

What a gem in paynesville! great location and easy to walk to esplanade with great restaurants. The room was clean, open and beautiful location with pier and views of water. easy check in, parking and value for money. Highly recommend staying at mariners cove - we will come again. Bed super comfy!

Actually stayed here a few years ago and at the time it was a great stay. I would stay again.

Great accommodation at a good price and in a lovely waterfront location very near the Raymond Island ferry. The only drawback is slightly limited cooking facilities when there are few eateries open off-season, but well equipped for breakfast and takeaways

So wonderful to be able to sit outside our room and enjoy the sun and beautiful views of the inlet and boats. The room was large, bed a smallish queen size and linen amazingly white and fresh. TV reception good. Only grumble is the rather tired (but very clean) bathroom. Location is perfect - quiet but easy walking to the ferry and cafes and IGA.

We had a beautiful stay at Mariners Cove. The new owners have done a fantastic job renovating, and our room was just gorgeous! White, light and bright with tasteful furnishing and decorations, and of course a beautiful view of the canals! We will definitely stay again next time we are in Paynesville!
