We were recommended to small scholars by my son’s OT. Our 4.5yo son has ASD, sensory processing disorder and significant gross and fine motor delays. Needless to say we have been quite anxious about his transition to school and prep next year. All that anxiety has now melted away thanks to Amie working with us to accomodate our sons special needs. In only two sessions he has felt at home and loves coming to “Miss Amie’s little school”. Amie is patient, gentle, passionate and so caring. It is almost as nice to see how proud she is to tell me how he has done for a session as it is to see his smile on his face when I pick him up. Thank you for making a safe space for him to learn and feel included while having fun and feeling confident.

Our family absolutely loves Small Scholars! Everything about it makes sense - happy relaxed beautiful space, with a passionate teacher! Our week isn’t complete without a dose of Small Scholars!! Deep learning, happy kids, easy scheduling! Makes life easy for our little 4 year old! thanks Amie!! We are so lucky to have found you!! We are prep ready!! Definitely the village we were needing to raise our wild child!!!!

We are over the moon that we have discovered Small Scholars. What a sensational way to prepare our kiddies for prep. My daughter is absolutely loving her learning time at Small Scholars. Amie is such a passionate and caring teacher with creative teaching techniques.

I can’t speak highly enough of this incredible program. We enrolled my daughter in their school holiday program. Initially I was nervous as she wasn’t familiar with the teachers or environment but the moment she walked in she felt at home, and ran through the door the following days. She also isn’t your neurotypical 5 year old and they took time to learn with her, understand her, and adapt to her. It was just beautiful. Can’t wait to enroll her in the next school holiday program.

Small Scholars is magical. Amie is caring, gentle, continually positive and totally passionate. Even after only a few sessions she really understood my child’s strength and areas for growth to get them super ready for school. My child loves going and looks forward to all the learning activities disguised as super fun experiences! Added to the I am an Occupational Therapist and really appreciate and commend Amie for her inclusivity and working models for her classroom. 100% would recommend.

Aimee is such a gentle, caring and encouraging teacher! Our son felt immediately at ease in her group and grew so much in confidence over the term especially with his letter sounds! The small group and homely space make it a wonderful setting to support the transition to kindy or school. I would highly recommend!!

We found out about Small Scholars through a local bookshop and it has changed my sons outlook to school, in such a few weeks. He’s highly sensitive and Amie has been so kind, understanding and patient with both him and I from the very beginning. My son loves going now and asks when it’s time to go to Amie’s. The program is brilliant and we get pictures to see what they have done in the day, however my son is so excited afterwards he tells me all about it! We cannot recommend small scholars enough for school readiness.

Amie has created a magical space at Small Scholars. My son looks forward to each session and has developed skills that make me feel confident that he will succeed at prep next year. Thank you Small Scholars!
