Ardor Food Co.

If you are planning to get a cake made from Ardor food and Co, I would highly recommend you save your time and energy and find ourself another place. They are EXTREMELY slow at responding to emails, taking 3-4 days to respond to an email I would take 10 minutes to respond back to. Not only are they slow are responses I ordered my wedding cake from Ardor Food Co in which I had agreed VIA email to have the cake picked up on the day before 1:30pm. The day of MY WEDDING a family member went to pick up the cake around 12:30 just to see that the store was closed. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and called them several times, NO ANSWER. I emailed them several times on the day and still NO ANSWER. It was super disappointing that I was unable to have cake on my wedding. As a cafe they have great variety and great quality of food but baking cakes for events they are quiet unprofessional and terrible service.

A good range of well made, good tasting gluten-free products. Parking is difficult. But the staff running the shop/outlet are friendly.

Pizza and eclair I got was MAGNIFICENT!! 5 stars!! Bravo!!

Yesterday I ate the most DELICIOUS, scrumptious pie EVER! It was the vegetarian vegan cottage pie, purchased from the cafe. I'm not gluten free (or vegan or vegetarian!), just on a health kick trying to minimize wheat. Well worth the drive to Coburg for this sumptuous pleasure. Friendly staff and an amazing range of products. There is some pleasant outdoor seating out front but probably not a place for a special date since it's in a fairly industrial area. I can't wait to try their other products.

So many good things to say about Ardor………..most recent delight photo attached, a smoked brisket, prosciutto and sweet onion pizza on the BEST base on the market. We’ve also done, chicken, Margherita and my favourite, chocolate, pizza and cream. I can’t make a base that’s 1/2 as good as Ardor’s bases, they are amazing. Thanks guys for giving us glutards a little bit of joy!!!!

I recently discovered this brand at Tony and Marks in SA and wow! What amazing quality GF products. I bought pizza, various pasta meals and frozen casarecce pasta to try and have been surprised at the quality and taste each time. I also really appreciate that this brand doesn't load up on garlic and onion like other brands do, and flavours are just simple and delicious :)

Best gluten free products. I've been able to substitute the plain flour as if it were wheat flour with no other changes and it's worked perfectly! It's incredible stuff, I don't know how they do it. Can't recommend enough.

I just attempted to consume the worst gluten free pie I have ever eaten. It was labelled ‘chunky beef and red wine’ when it would more adequately be labelled ‘meat gristle and mushroom water’ pie. The pastry wasn’t terrible aside from it being incredibly oily but the filling was actually disgusting and most of the ‘chunky beef’ was in fact ‘chunky beef gristle’. Charging people $10.50 for a pie that tastes significantly worse than the Woolworths brand frozen gluten free pies is pretty audacious.
