Beyond Rest - Hawthorn: Float & Infrared Sauna | Red Light Wellness

Customer service and the experience is amazing. When I first went into the pod for a while I thought “this is so overrated” but the last 10-15 min in the pod my brain really turned off and I was able to enjoy the experience. I did have some shoulder ache in the pod which helped me realise I should relax my shoulder more because it’s too stressed.I loved how there was no rush whatsoever during the experience. I really felt like I was in the moment thanks to this. Definitely interested in treating myself again! I think it’ll be even better next time.The lounge area was great to rewind and reflect on the experience, the tea was so delicious I bought some for home!My only feedback is that the decor and atmosphere that’s in the reception area and the halls get cut off when you enter the pod room. There are no longer plants or decor items or scents in the pod room so when you immerse yourself in the atmosphere than suddenly enter the room it’s very noticeable, the lights in the pod room are bad too compared to the hall and the reception.Otherwise an excellent experience which I’ll be recommending further to friends and family!!

I have been going to Beyond Rest for relaxation floats for a while now. I absolutely love this place. The staff are kind and welcoming, the facilities are clean and the atmosphere is relaxing.I initially came here as an extension of my meditation, but after falling pregnant I came to learn all the amazing benefits of floating for pregnant women such as decrease in fluid retention, better sleep, cramping relief and an overall decrease in aches and pains associated with the heaviness of pregnancy. I am glad to report I benefited from all these during my floats as well as being able to rest and connect with my baby.I look forward to coming back and trying the cocoon pods after pregnancy.One tip I have is to ask for a pool noodle to help you get into a more favourable position.

I have to say, this is an exceptional establishment! I loved everything about the facility, there were beautiful showers in the rooms with body wash, shampoo and conditioner and everything was spotlessly cleaned. Denise is just lovely, very welcoming and even stayed a little after closing time so I could try the float after my sauna. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Highly recommend :)

Absolutely gorgeous and calming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly helpful for first timers and great support for newcomers. The facilities post soak include a personal shower with toiletries, and a beauty room with hair dryers to dry off, followed by delicious and calming tea. Best word to describe BR is absolute bliss

I have been floating at Beyond Rest Hawthorn for a little while now and not only is the environment incredibly peaceful, the floats have helped my keep my rheumatoid arthritis at bay. However, I have recently tried their new cocoon wellness pod and red light therapy and had instantaneous relief. I was a bit hesitant to try the cocoon, however the staff were very kind and supportive and thoroughly answered my questions. I finished the session feeling refreshed and pain free.

From the double door at the entrance to keep the noise & hustle outside… to the relaxing tea, calm music and comfy chairs on the way out. This place forces you to leave it all behind you and invites you to find your inner peace. Great staff as well. Love it.

I recently visited Beyond Rest, a floatation center that opened in 2020, for the third time and I have to say, my experience was just as amazing as the first two times. The center was still impressively clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were just as top-notch as I remembered.As I settled into the floatation tank, I felt a familiar sense of anticipation and excitement. Even though I had floated before, I still found the experience to be incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The darkness and silence of the tank allowed me to completely disconnect from the outside world and focus on my own thoughts and feelings.After my floatation, I enjoyed spending some time in the relaxation room, which had a calming and soothing atmosphere that I had come to expect from Beyond Rest. The hot tea provided was the perfect finishing touch to my experience, and I felt completely refreshed and rejuvenated.Beyond Rest's facilities were excellent as always, with all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable and pampered. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my floatation experience and relaxation time to the fullest.Overall, I would highly recommend Beyond Rest to anyone looking for a restorative and refreshing experience. Whether you're a first-time floater or a seasoned veteran, this place is sure to leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the world. I was a bit nervous, as it was my first float, but Candice was great at introducing us to the place, and explained everything clearly. The place itself is calming and you feel instantly relaxed, the minute you walk in. The floatation tank rooms are extremely clean. I finished the session feeling very calm and buzzing with happiness.
