Did a self guided tour around the historic buildings. A fascinating and rich history.Took the mountain bike for a ride around the maintenance trails. Was a great way to see more of the park in a shorter time.

A fairly new National Park formed from a former Immigration center and Army Officer training station. Some nice fire trails and a few kangaroos here and there. Needs picnic facilities and better signage but other an interesting visit. Lots of old buildings etc to see.

This location is a great place for watching a variety of bird life. This is one of the sites within the Richmond Woodlands Key Biodiversity Area, part of a worldwide system. Birders, Twitchers

This really is a beautiful park with a great deal of history. There is a self guided walk through the park that has information signs dotted along the way to provide historical information about its former uses.I found it quite unfortunate that the use of some of the historical buildings is very limited and some of the vegetation has overgrown certain areas of the park. This park would be ideal for kids that are looking for a subject to do a school assignment on etc. There are public toilets provided just behind the first building.

Amazing and magical! Not only do you discover the history of the Migrant Camp you also get to walk around the easy fire trails that encompass the Migrant Camp precinct. Great for families and young children. This is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. Entry is free with the main entrance off Scheyville Road then take Dormitory Hill Road to the parking area. Plenty of places to enjoy a picnic in the beautiful surrounds.

Great place for a walk, horse ride, or bike. Generally plenty of kangaroos and deer to be seen. It's also worth going to Longneck lagoon
