Flash Camp South Coast

My partner booked here for my birthday get away and it was the most amazing experience. The tents and set up is gorgeous and has everything you need. The camping ground itself is so special, from the river to the wildlife. You can really just switch off and relax.

We had a fantastic stay! The tents are beautiful and well decorated. Good quality blankets and furniture. The communal kitchen is well stocked and nicely planned out. We went to celebrate an anniversary but it would be an amazing place to go with friends. Particularly if you booked out all the tents, which is what we plan to do shortly! The camping ground is huge, lots of wildlife. I would definitely recommend walking down to the river. It's absolutely gorgeous.

We had one night accommodation in one of the bell tents (we were a family of four of Asian background, including 2 kids age ranging from 3-7), it was certainly a great experience! Wished we stayed a bit longer. We did the bonfire (you can purchase firewood from the reception - fire starter and lighter already provided for free in the communal dining & kitchen areas) and the lady looking after the tents kindly provided us with some marshmallows (guess, we weren't all that prepared!), the kids absolutely loved it. Next time, I'll bring some real food for grilling! During the night, it was drizzling and the sound of raindrops hitting the tent was awesome and lulled us all to sleep. The dirt road on the last 11 kms with all the trees is charming and gives you that remote mountain/woodland feel.

Wow just wow! Thank you for our lovely weekend. Our first camping/glamping trip and the bar has been set high! The facilities were great, plenty of things to do and see, wildlife everywhere, and the river is beautiful and fresh. The glamping site was clean and kitchen and showers were amazing. Something everyone must try once in their lives and the tent was very spacious. Thanks again and we will return!!

Have just returned from 4 nights at Flash Camp at Coolendel, we had a great time! The tents are excellent, really well appointed. Beds are super comfy and linen provided is great. The shower/toilet facilities are shared with the campers in the general camping area, and are very clean with endless hot water! Lovely...But there's some things to know if you're considering booking:1. There is a mice problem at Coolendel at the moment (mid April 2021). They are tiny field mice and find their way into your tent, no matter how diligent you are in keeping the tent shut. Do not leave ANY food in your tent, and maybe even take something with you to help plug any gaps.2. There is no canoe hire available anymore. The owners of the canoes stopped this because of Covid and haven't resumed it. There's actually not a whole lot to do, so be prepared for relaxation. Bring a deck of cards and a cricket set, especially if you have kids. The river is flowing very fast at the moment, so expect to paddle on the edges and not really swim"

Amazing location just on the Shoalhaven river which offers a lot of fun for everyone in the family and a nice spot to cool off in the sun.The facilities have absolutely everything you need for a great stay, right down to firelighters and Olive oil.Tent was immaculate and the bed was incredibly comfy (We have even googled where to buy the pillows we loved them that much!)Highly highly recommend and we will definitely be going again.

Such an awesome place to visit and spend the weekend. Crazy to see what the bushfires of 19/20 have done to the place but awesome to see it coming back to life. The tent was incredible, tidy and homely. Best nights sleep we’ve ever had, c(gla)amping. They honestly had everything you needed there and the amenities are so close by. We met one of the lovely workers, Nat, who was cleaning one of the tents out, who was so friendly and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and were able to find everything ok! Will definitely be coming again!

Awesome place loved it. The host has taken great care to prepare the tents and there is a certain wow factor as you enter them.Lots of wildlife, and the river nearby is gorgeousOn our last night, only 2 tents were occupied. My only recommendation to the host is, if there are tents available then keep people as far apart as possible to avoid noise from neighbors at night. It gets difficult to sleep if next door people are constantly in and out of the tent all night, walking around and talking.
