I AM STILL WAITING ON MY REFUNDS FOR TWO CANCELLED LAYBYS. Do not use this store. They are lying scammers. My first order which I completed was fine but took a month to arrive after paying it off and if you cancel a layby they won’t refund your money immediately and will instead claim their “payment provider” needs seven days to process the refund. That is total lies. Then when you contact them for your refund their customer “service” staff are rude and unhelpful. Their fees are also ridiculous. It has been OVER SEVEN DAYS AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY REFUNDS.They are scammers. Do not use them. I am STILL waiting on my refund and they have made no attempt to resolve the issue. They do not care about their customers. THEY ARE HOLDING ONTO HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OF MY MONEY. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS. IF IT WAS THEY WOULD HAVE REFUNDED MY MONEY AND LOOKED INTO THE ISSUE. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I have reported them to Fair Trading given they won’t even look into why the refund hasn’t come through. They also only send copy and paste responses. That is not customer service. DO NOT USE THESE THIEVING SCUMBAGS.

I am so very angry with this company. I have been waiting for months for my fridge. They never contacted me about my refrigerator, I had to do that!!! I had to chase them about gift cards they promised so that I could buy my fridge from “the good guys,” well, it took almost another month to received them and in the meantime the fridge I wanted came off sale which cost me $300 extra out of my pocket all because these empty promises were given to me day after day. After consulting with a solicitor I was told on these grounds I had every right to expect that $300 to be returned to me as they could not provide the fridge nor could they give me the gift cards in a timely matter. KNOWN OF THIS WAS MY FAULT. The service I have received is very ordinary and far from good or professional. The person I was dealing with started to out and out ignore me, no communication just more poor customer service. .As a single mother, although I do have a career in nursing, I have been using this service for years as It is very hard to find the money to replace big items. I have lost all faith in this company and I’m so disappointed in how the staff and company in general have dealt with me as a good customer with complete contempt toward me for their incompetence! I shall to be informing family and friends to stay away from this company and use social media to give warnings, social media is a very effective tool in warning hundreds of people and that is exactly what I will utilise, to think all they had to do was send the gift cards that were NEVER sent and all this could have been avoided. Good one Melissa, your supervisor will be hearing from me very shortly. So so so disappointed with this company and I warn anyone wanting to use it to DONT, JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY , THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN TAKE THEIR TIME TO FIX THEIR MESS UP WITH NO CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER. ILL BE TAKING THIS ALOT FURTHER AND THEN ILL BE WARNING OTHERS TO BE VERY AND I MEAN BE VERY AWARE AND CAREFUL WHO YOU GIVE YOUR MONEY TOO.

Absolute scam. Sent fake link for $500 gift voucher. 8 days trying to get in touch with them. No help whatsoever. They do not answer messages and you can't call them. Would not recommend using this company.

Been using these guys for about 18 months now, just brilliant & great customer service. Have layby’d gift cards & being a low income family there is nothing better than a $500 coles gift card, liquor group & Kmart vouchers turning up a month before Christmas…I have already set my purchases for next year!! AAA plus

Hi there. I thought I would try out laybyland for the first time this year and I can say that I'm very disappointed. 1. 2 of my items weren't available and I was only made aware of this at the end of my layby term when I had only 2 payments remaining. They offered a full refund to which I accepted and that was paid within 3 days so great service there. However my remaining 3 items I paid off early with some of the refund and was expected to receive them by end of November. Only 1 of those items was shipped out to me. I made contact with the customer service reps and they said they would chase it up. First week goes by and nothing, 2nd week still nothing 3rd week nothing again, mind you this whole time I have been in contact with them trying to find out where my $500 worth of products are, and this week I contacted them on Monday and asked for a refund because products haven't been sent, I've spoken to their supplier and they have sent the order number to the solutions team so who knows how long that will be and i need either products or money back so I can replace my kids Xmas presents. And I'm sick of being brushed off and juggled around. If this is how you guys handle your paying customers I'm not sure I want to continue shopping from here.

I had 2 repayments remaining on a kids outdoor play equipment worth over $2000. They email me saying your item is not available. I've been paying it off since the start of January. It's a Christmas present for my 2 boys. So I ask for a full refund to witch they proceed with my request. It takes 5 days to start receiving my refund and it comes back in 4 lots of payments at a time. So $162.50 x4 then same next day and so on till refunded. I'll never use laybyland EVER AGAIN. Worst experience ever. Now I have 2 months to get my boys an outdoor play centre so they have it for Christmas

Excellent service and fast delivery. Great customer service. They had sold out of my original ordered item, but they were very fast to email me and gave me the option to select another item to the same value or a refund. I selected a new item and it was delivered in a few days (regional Vic). I already have my second order on and I will definitely recommend to friends and family.I love that I can also select my own payment length and I can change it at any time.Quality of my item was perfect.Thanks Layby land.
