In 2016 I underwent emergency spinal surgery for a severe intervertebral disc bulge at L4/5 which was causing me nerve problems. The surgery fixed the nerve problem but unfortunately I was left with chronic pain. I was seeing an excellent physiotherapist every fortnight for two years, but didn't seem to be able to get on top of the pain for longer than a few days. My wife is a doctor, who had seen Michelle previously for her own back pain problems and she urged me to go to Michelle, telling me there is a lot of evidence for massage helping to break down scar tissue. I was sceptical at first, but have now been seeing Michelle every month for two years. I truly believe my pain is improved because the scar tissue and muscles around the operation site are kept supple with massage. I no longer need muscle relaxants, pain killers or physiotherapy. I have a very physical job and am glad to say I am no longer concerned about my ability to continue working. I have also been able to return to lifting weights in the gym, which I've always enjoyed. I highly recommend remedial massage by Michelle.

I suffered a spinal injury some years ago now and have since suffered substantial pain at the site of the injury as well as referred pain. It is always a bit scary going to someone new but I was very lucky when I found Michelle on line.I was visiting family away from home and was suffering badly from pain. I really needed help to settle it down. I didn't know anyone in this area so it was a bit of a gamble but it sure paid off!Michelle is a lovely person but most importantly she is very skilled at her job and you can tell straight away from her focus and determination to help, that she has a passion for her work.I went twice (a few days apart) as I needed a fair bit of work done! She worked very thoroughly on all my problem areas and between those two treatments, she didn't miss a thing.It was such a relief to find Michelle because you never really know!

Michelle was able to pin point the pain and work the area. Its been 3days since I saw her and even though the pain is still there it's now bearable and I cand get up and move around more freely. she is a person that cares more for the patient rather then time limits as my appointment ran over 15mins and was only charged for the hour. I found her to be a very happy person who loves what she does. Thank you Michelle.
