Below is the email i got from Vanguard and was advised 2 weeks turnaround its been 10 weeks and no answer - i have called and sent emails with no responsethey even wanted to charge me to remove the item despite being a warranty job and then want to re install again despite being a warranty jobdont recommend them - they dont respond and dont care once they have taken your moneyafter install they ask you to change your feedback so other customers dont know about the experiencei have taken this company to department of fair tradingGood Morning Niven,Thank you for your time on the phone.As discussed Somfy have a 5year warranty on motors. Vanguard’s labour is not included in the warranty.Given the delay in responding to your service request I have agreed to arrange for our installer to remove the motor and send to Somfy for testing at no cost. Once Somfy assess the motor and hopefully repairs or replaces we can arrange an installer to refit the motor within our servicing pricing structure.The minimum call out fee is $245.00David Ph number XXXXX will collect the motor this coming Tuesday 4th of May

We had a bad experience with Vanguard Blinds. It took over 2.5 years to have our blinds installed. Communication was terrible and I had to chase them consistently over many months. There was no apology and no discount. The product we have had installed is excellent. Such a shame the company has not learnt the basics about customer relations. The exception to this was a gentleman named Josh who did his best under difficult conditions to communicate and placate.

Our lourves were meansure in Oct 2018 were meant to be installed in December.It is now March and we have been given 3 false installations dates and nothing has been fixed. I just rang the office and Megan (an assistant to David-sales Manager) is going to ring back because she has to investigate the matter.I just want to know the installation date and if the lourves are not even manufactured yet, whether we can get our money back. I am hopeful this gets resolved as Megan sounded sincere. I shall update this post when I get a respond.I am disappointed to see the other reviews and hope our experience will be more positive.Stay tuned.2 April 2019-updateStill waiting for the lourves to be installed.Megan insists that everything is on track for installation on 15 April but they have not contacted my builder to book in a date.Stay tuned.12 April 2019 - updateJared from Vanguard Blinds rang my builder this morning and cancelled the installation for Monday AGAIN. My builder had put up the scaffolds all ready for installation for the upteenth time and now has to dismantle it again to use on another site. All these cancellation is costing us money - time, labour..etcJared gave his word and said it will be installed after EASTER. I have no idea if this will really happen?? What should we do?? I think the right thing for this company to do is to refund us if it does not get installed then.That is the decent thing to do.Stay tuned - will update after EASTER.15 May 2019 - final updateAt last! The lourves are finally put up after so many months of waiting, chasing up, listening to excuses and half truths..I hope everyone out there has a better experience than me.On a positive note, the installers who came to put it up were polite and efficient. The lourves were put up in 3 hours. Thank you guys!

Fantastic! We are extremely delighted with both the product and service provided by Vanguard. The attention to detail and getting it right was exceptional. From initial contact for the quote right through to installation, everyone from Vanguard was professional and attentive demonstrating that they knew their products and had the expertise to deliver with minimal issues. I highly recommend their products and services. Everyone that has seen the final result was very impressed and keen to find out more about the product and Vanguard.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Our company engaged their services and paid a huge deposit in January 2019 and agreed a louvre system would be delivered within 5 weeks. We followed up 2 months later only to find out production had not commenced yet and it would be another 1-2 months to deliver. We found another company to do the work and they turned it around in 7 days. At the time we were promised a full refund of the deposit in writing and to this day we received nothing we were even forced to signed a legal document with them making us pull down any negative feedback regarding them in exchange for the refund to finally be transferred to no avail. Accounts themselves advise that the CEO is likely aware but this is how they run their business.

We recently had the need for maintenance to one of our opening roofs.Josh and Ben from Vanguard have just departed our property. They were wonderful, being highly pleasant and co-operative. They were relaxed and made us feel comfortable in their understanding of the product.I understand that Josh has only recently restarted with Vanguard. It was a 100% excellent choice. He is very knowledgeable on your products. It was Ben’s first day on the job. He is another wise appointment. While Josh was talking on the mobile to help fellow Vanguard staff, Ben kept working without being told to do so. Ben worked as if he had been with the company for years and was well versed in the product.They were the representatives Vanguard would wish for. They deserve to be congratulated. Josh gave me his personal mobile number in case we had any further issues. I offerred them a financial tip, which they declined.I am sure that other people will benefit from their service.Stuart S.21st May 2019

This is worst company I never seen it in my 20 years construction experiment. My guys working for them 3 months for finish 5 project and get nothing to pay at end. We send invoices on every month as them requair and what’s happen is accounter on holiday on first month, tell my will confirm on second month and nothing happens on third month. At end they tell me they can’t make payment because we’re not on system......I have to use legal action now to collect around $50K of my guys salary back.I suggest you better double think before you make payment or working for this company.

My blinds were promised for installation in April 2018.- payment of $13,000 was paid up front ( total price $16,000) - WITH DELIVER PROMISED FOR MAY 2018. IT IS NOW MID NOVEMBER AND I CANT GET THEM TO RETURN MY CALL.I have been in the building industry for 50 years and have never experienced something like this.I have tried contacting the CEO only to be told he does not talk to customer. Website says it a 6 generation business - I can only think the 5 previous generations must be turning in their graves.DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY
