Nice small cafe to the roadside. Friendly staff with a view of road and town. Had breakfast over here around July-august after no restriction and 1st snow trip.Food was good with the quality, but the amount served per dish is not enough for the value paid. It can surely get more food.Ordered veggie breakfast and was nice

Have been to the Ginger baker a few times over the last few years when we visit bright. When it’s busy it’s gets hectic and the service can drop a little. We visited this weekend and besides one other person there was only me and my fiancé there and oh my gosh I would have to say the BEST eggs Benny I have ever had and the mushrooms were Devine. My partner had the big breakfast and everything was on point! Sixpence Coffee was great and service with a smile! Perfect spot in town and a very rustic warm feel.

Nice place for breakfast or brunch, right beside the water play area and playground. Food was lovely and the staff is great. Usually pretty busy, so expect a bit of a wait for sit downs, but it's well worth it.

Excellent breakfast/ brunch venue. Quality ingredients served in tasty dishes with great customer service and in a very reasonable time. Fantastic covered heated deck /courtyard atmosphere for winter. Pet friendly.

Came all the way from Sydney!! The location was beautiful but the customer service was not up to the mark. Rude compared to the other cafés I’ve been to !! If you are here for coffee don’t bother coming here . You’ll be asked to wait outside in the cold

This is without a doubt the best cafe in Bright.If you are in Bright, then I would highly recommend that you pay a visit to this cafe.* You could find plenty of options in their reasonably priced menu, to suit your mood and budget.* Whether you are looking for a vegetarian or non-vegetarian option, you will find your expectation will be exceeded - they have the best chef(s) in the town.* Looking for a quite corner under the trees overlooking the river, or want a place to closer to the street while you are sipping your coffee? you will find plenty of seating options.* Starting with a warm welcome, taking you to your preferred seating location, offering and taking you through the menu, serving the food to settling down the bill, you will experience nothing but excellent customer service.

Lovely food and coffee. Loved the pancakes. We came here twice for breakfast over the weekend. First time the place was busy so the service seemed inhospitable, while the second day it was less hectic so it felt more welcoming. At first we thought the serving was a little small for the price, but after finishing our meal we find that it was a good portion. The view we had where we were seated was amazing too. Overall we would return.

We went for lunch and also grabbed takeaways a couple of times whilst on holiday in Beight. Conveniently located right near the splash park and river precinct. They sling the local sixpence coffee roasters coffee and it's excellent as both long black and iced.The lunch menu was modern Australian and a step up from usual cafe fare with plenty of 'native' gluten free and diet friendly options. Prices were still very reasonable however. We got a table out the back which was well socially distanced with a great view of the river. Highly recommend

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received during my recent visit to your establishment. Despite the fact that the cafe was still open, I was completely ignored by your staff, including the owner, who failed to greet or serve me throughout my entire visit.As a customer, I expect a minimum level of attention and courtesy when visiting a cafe. However, my experience at Ginger Baker Cafe fell far below these basic expectations. It was disheartening to witness the owner's lack of interest in providing proper service.Not only did this disregard make me feel unwelcome, but it also had a negative impact on my overall impression of your cafe. I believe that exceptional customer service is essential for any business to thrive, and unfortunately, that was severely lacking during my visit.I sincerely hope that you address this issue promptly, as it reflects poorly on your establishment. It is my hope that future customers will not have to encounter such unprofessional behavior. I trust that you will take appropriate action to improve your customer service and ensure that all visitors are greeted and served promptly and courteously.

Ginger Baker Café - Food & Wine
Mum and I had a wonderful lunch out at Ginger Baker. She had been wanting to come here for a while and it didn't disappoint. Inside the fire kept us and the dogs warm whilst we enjoyed a glass of wine and ordered lunch. We shared the saganaki, lamb cutlets and the pork and fennel meatballs which were delicious.
