The Good Guys Booval are not really interested in customer service. I recently purchased a Dishwasher and paid for installation,removal of previous Machine.I was advised by their installation contractor of a date of installation, over two weeks, after purchase date.I contacted the Booval Store to be only fobbed of with complete disregard and we don't care we attitude. They hid behind this statement, the installers are an independent company which they have no control".I recommend not using Good Guys or their contractor who have no guarantee on prompt or quality service."

Unfortunately I found the dispatch staff not as helpful and co-operative as the sales team. On Monday the 11 July 2022 I bought a model 65 P615 TV at the Good Guys Ipswich store. The sales & payment went through without any problems but when I went to the dispatch area to collect the TV, I had lots problems. Dispatch people were rude and not helpful at all. Unfortunately these people are not practising the name of the Company The Good Guys. Before going to the Ipswich store I measured the back of my Toyota Prado to ensure that the TV box 1.65 m × 1.0 will fit in the back. At the dispatch area I gave the paid invoice to a dispatch person. He then requested me to reverse my vehicle in the dispatch area which I did. A second dispatch person came and told me the box will not fit at the back of my Toyota prado and I have to get a bigger vehicle. I told him that I have previously carried similar size box and I already measured the back of my Prado and the box will fit. He then called a third person who came and basically threatened me that if I do not take the TV upright then the warranty will be voided.However after lengthy discussion the person who I handed the sales invoice helped me load the TV at the back of my Prado. He then completed TV handover checkoff in which he ticked N to customer vehicle is an appropriate size for the purpose of transporting the TV & TV will be transported in a upright position in vehicle. After loading I took several photos, one attached which shows TV is placed upright. He falsify the checkoff sheet.I believe that the dispatch personnel should be friendly and helpful. These sort of people will bring bad reputation to the Public Company The Good Guys. Although I will continue my business with other Good Guys Stores but I will not do anymore business with the Ipswich store.Finally I transported the TV upright in my Toyota prado to my home without any damages and it is now operating well.

Awesome, efficient and friendly service... I was served by Fiona and she was so lovely. Found what I wanted straight away, gave me a better price than I'd seen online and helped me take it to my car. Will definitely be back!

Recently bought a Toshiba 50” TV from the team @ Ipswich. I inquired on a Saturday afternoon after work, as I was still unsure of some measurements for my space. The Staff member was very friendly and answered all of my questions honestly about the original TV I was considering.I returned on the Sunday and purchased the Toshiba 50” TV after researching other options and considering the advice I received from the staff member the day before.I have had the TV for a few weeks now and I would recommend this TV!

One of the worst customer care I have experienced. I was issued two Store Cash vouchers at same time on 16th Feb. I opened first and it was $100 with expiry date of 8th March. Okay, still have time for me to decide on what to buy. Another Store Cash voucher was of $80. When I tried to avail these on 6th March, I noticed that $80 voucher was only valid for 10 days. So my $80 are gone like that without I could even use it. Their online chat is horrible and wasn’t helpful at all. I called their customer care, they sent my request to their Marketing team if they can issue me another voucher, as it was a one off confusion cos of different expiry dates.Their Marketing team won’t help me either. So I had only 7 days after expiry date to ask for reissue of a voucher. Nowhere on their website is mentioned this. These are the rules which are with their Marketing team.So Good Guys, you are not offering a good customer support and have just lost a customer.

These guys are the definition of absolute useless.I purchased a item from the Good guys commercial site and it got dispatched from this store, the item failed after about 3 months and its taken about 3 months for them to try sort a refund and are still giving me a run around.Everyone promises to return calls, get back to you etc but no one at this store is capable of doing any sort of job. I suggest if your buying anything online to double check its not coming from this excuse of a shop.

Bought two fridges. Made our decision based on needing to reverse the hinges on one of them. Paid for delivery. Delivery happened and was prompt, but delivery guys were not permitted to reverse the doors. Doors can't be reversed by customers, and is an additional extra cost. Sales people didn't know or didn't care that this would leave the customer in the lurch. The good guys online service people don't care, and weren't helpful.Given the level of knowledge in the shop and this experience with the install, I can see why bricks and mortar shops are dying. You don't get much or any value from going into shops anymore and all the product information you learn is from your own googling while in the shop rather than by the sales staff knowing their products intimately.If you ever need help, don't bother to reach out to them via facebook. Their level of help there is so non-existent that I've only seen it replicated by Jetstar before.I've had some ok experiences with them before, but they've shown that they really have no level of customer service. I'd go anywhere else and pay more to not have to deal with them again.

Had a rather pleasant trip to the Booval store today. I had made a click and collect order for some headphones. Only noticed after I'd paid that there was discount code for the item. About $40 difference. The counter staff were only to happy to apply the code and save me some $. Definitely The Good Guys.

My MIL purchased us a brand new washing machine for us from here as she had never had issues and valued their gold class concierge coverage and customer service over the years. We collected the said washing machine that same day and took it home, things weren’t coming out as clean or fresh as we would’ve liked them but brushed it off as it might need some wearing in. Took us a couple weeks to come to the conclusion that it was a dud, clothes would come out still smelling or soiled no matter the detergent or wash cycle that we used, we contacted them immediately to be met with hostility and no remorse for not being able to do the basic need of doing our washing.They informed us we needed to have a technician come out and look at the machine, which we understood and agreed to. Technician comes out and assess’s the machine for 5mins if that and says there’s nothing wrong, we said otherwise and the manufacturer agrees to give us a change of mind and credit back to the good guys to choose another.Comes to the day we go in to choose our new washing machine, the one we chose is not in stock of course and they said it would be a 1-2 month wait not even offering to find us one at another store nearby. We asked to get our money back so we could go elsewhere and purchase the machine and pick it up straight away and they refused because we purchased the gold service. After knowing this I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to purchase this as it’s no better than a scam and gold service was not what we experienced. After us pushing for it the lady agreed to check and found one nearby and said she would schedule it for delivery, we go home and await confirmation to be told it would take another week to arrive - not ideal but we understood.The day comes for delivery we tell them what time we will be home, comes to 30mins before the window of 3 hours ends and it has been cancelled. I contacted the store and they said it’s not in their control and it’s a third party delivery, we asked for the delivery to be rescheduled for the next day in the morning as I had to work in the afternoon and would not be able to receive it. Then I get a message saying the delivery estimate would be for the late afternoon WHEN WE ARENT HOME. I call them again and all she can offer me is a redelivery for 4 days later on the weekend and said it wasn’t their fault, asked to speak to a manager and she was less than helpful just kept saying ‘there’s nothing she can do’ and that I was ‘going around in circles’ and when I asked for my money back again she refused. 3 months now without a working washing machine and still waiting for our replacement. Wouldn’t recommend.
