Let me start off by saying this was my first time here and the first time with this experience.The feeling I got was like getting invited into a friend's indian home and having their relatives offering food...Good food...They were generous with our silly questions as to what things were, and asked us if we were vegan. We aren't, they ask because, while entirely vegetarian, they do use clarified butter (ghee) and milk.They laid out a plate with a small amount of some of the dishes. Tasting it... Mmm yum.. as the plate emptied, I was asked if I would like more of any of it.Yes, please.Definitely worth a second or third or more trip

Food has revamped and new energy has been injected at Gujjus. Gujarati and Kathyawadi Thali photos below. Food, service and portion are generous and free flowing. If you are in this area and crave some traditional indian food a must try.

Masala lemon soda and masala coke were good.Both normal and ragda pani-puri were satisfactory as well.Corn chat - Completely different from what usually have had in India, instead it is too sweet and sticky. Mixed with Indian savoury snacks & peanuts. Could only have no more than 2 spoons.Kachori chat - A thin layer of flat kachori at the bottom, topped with chickpeas masala, yogurt, and sauces. Could have been better I believe.

I have been twice recently and both times it has been great. I am not Indian but went with Indian friends. First time my friend liked it. Second time I went with my partner who’s a great cook. She liked it also. Yes I am sure every restaurant has a good and bad day. Let’s hope that gujjus can keep it consistently good as I don’t want to discount some of the bad reviews as some sounded like they had merit. Anyway, the food, breads, drinks and dessert were all nice and it’s all you can eat. Lots of people would go just for that fact. Order a thaali that suits you, order more serves of what you like and enjoy!

The place is quite small. And the table that I was allocated even after booking it before I wasn't happy with it. Less staff so you dnt get much attention. But yes Varun tries his best to manage things around. And about the food the quantity us good and everything is a bit sweet but the mathura Chaat was good rest all was okay as it was a bit sweet side. I know people may say Gujrati food is a bit sweet but not everything should be sweet. For example I ordered a ragda pattice and it was sweet too.

Loved the food. Pav Bajji and the Thalis were amazing. Their Roti and Thepla were really soft. The service is top notch.

It was a disgusting place with poor quality food and staff services and did not deserve even 1 star. In the end we ordered two chats we were in a dilemma to decide if the last meal would be worth it. We were quite disappointed. Service was slow, and the food did not match the busy looks they had shown. Food was revolting and definitely not authentic. The food was very tasteless and did not taste fresh. When they charge outrageous prices, they should have the etiquette to provide fresh hot food. I cannot imagine going to this place again. We spent over a $120 and this was not the result I was expecting. The right expression would be bleurgh!Looking forward to hear a response.-Sara

This is good place to have authentic Gujrathi food.There are various types of Thaalis where we get unlimited food.We decide to have Rajwadi Thaali.We were pretty happy with the food and the taste.
