I put up this request at about 4am on a Sunday morning of the long Easter weekend and the first response was less than 10 mins later. In total, I had 5 responses by 8am by messages only. Khalid even drove from 45 mins away to come to assess to quote! Very impressed.The task was claimed by 11am.

The cleaning prices are big difference between the cleaning business and the app! The app shows the lower price, but the cleaning business sends me the quote: regular cleaning weekly charge $110, fortnight $220! Can’t believe it!

I tried to work with Dyer Cleaning and Garden Maintenance, but it was a disaster. On Wednesday, June 7th, they offered their interest in the job, and I called them on the same day to explain my situation. I was desperate in need because I am expecting visitors from overseas on Monday, June 12th (today). I am a tour operator and just returned from a long trip looking for help to complete this cleaning.I spoke to a lady. I got the impression she was the person in charge. We agreed to an hourly rate I was happy to pay and made an appointment for Thursday, June 8th 10 am.June, 8th at 9.19 am, I got an sms that she was delayed on another job and offered to beat my place at noon.Noon went, and at 12.19 pm, I asked via sms how much longer I had to wait until she arrived to do the job. According to our previous conservation, I thought she was working on Westfield Rd in Maddington, just around the corner from my place. She answered with an apology and explained that someone had called in sick that Thursday, so she was understaffed. Furthermore, she offered to do the job on Friday, Saturday or Sunday because she is flexible.On Friday morning, June 9th, at 8.35 am, I sent an sms asking for a call back so we could arrange an appointment for Saturday, June 10th, and Sunday, June 11th, if necessary.There was no answer, so I wrote an ather sms asking whether she was still interested in the job at 9.54 am. She answered at 9.59 am, informing me she was short-staffed over the last few days. In addition, she asked me to send her a schedule of my availability on Saturday so she had it in her phone.That was her last reaction. From now on, she has not answered any more.On the same Friday, June 9th, because I had not received her confirmation, I wrote another sms asking when she would turn up on Saturday morning at 4.53. No answer.On Saturday morning, June 10th, at 9.49, I told her I was back home and would stay there for the rest of the day. No answer.10 am came and went, but nobody from this cleaning company turned up. At 10.53 am, I wrote, asking if she was still interested in the job and letting her know that I was getting worried. No answerAt 1.26 pm, I was asked what to expect. No answer.At 5.39 pm, I asked her whether she would turn up Sunday. No answer.My resume: what kind of business behaviour is that? Dyer Cleaning and Garden Maintenance is the worst cleaner business ever experienced. Applying for the job, getting the job and not doing it with not communicating and giving some reason is understandable. If she had cancelled it, I could have made other arrangements. Three more companies have applied for the job. So I had to do it by myself has not lifted my spirit. I am just thinking about how a business can survive with such behaviour. Please, everybody should avoid that business; it is causing just disappointment.

I posted the job and uploaded the photos. Then I received a few emails and quotes in the next few hours. The job was done quickly. Excellent platform. Will use it again.
