Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant
The best food we’ve had on our road trip of 5 days, extremely delicious, and so worth the price. The owner was incredibly nice and friendly, she let our dog into the restaurant, spoiled him with food and water, and was so very welcoming and warm to us. We left the place incredibly happy and satisfied with the whole experience, and wished we had such venues in Sydney too. Next time we’re in Forster, we already know where we will be dining.

What can I say $15 for lunch you get a good size meal with fried rice and you also get a choice of 2 spring rolls or short soup all for $15 the food was amazing and the fried rice was like to original flavoured fried riceIt’s my definite go to nowGood job guys

I recently visited Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant with my family and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.We ordered several dishes, but the standout was definitely the Mongolian beef. It was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of spice. We also tried the honey chicken, which was equally delicious.The service was exceptional, with our waiter providing friendly and attentive service throughout our meal. The staff clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the food and service.Overall, we had a wonderful time at Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious Chinese meal in Forster. Five stars all around!

We found this gem on holidays. Absolutely solid Cantonese style Chinese cuisine from the old days. We had the crispy beef Peking style, combination short soup, sizzling Mongolian fillet steak, special fried rice and some entrees. Honestly, it was so amazing, we went there twice during our week there. I wish they had a place like this in Sydney. I recommend you book a table on busier nights eg Thurs to Sunday to avoid disappointment.

In 66 years I have savoured Chinese cuisine from many places. The food here is excellent. Fresh, not too salty, well balanced sauces, melt in your mouth prawns, chicken and other meats. Well priced and excellent presentation.

Without a doubt the best Chinese I've ever had. FRESH, full of flavour and tender. The beans were delicious, actually it all was. We had san chow bow, beef pekin something, sweet and sour pork and vegetarian fried rice. The service was swift and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The best Mongolian lamb I have had in my life!!!! So much flavour, lots of sauce, lamb and veggies. Also had a chicken chow mein with crispy noodles which was also amazing!! Will definitely be telling friends and family who come to Forster. I just wish I didn't live 4 hours drive away.
