Just had my first appointment at Anaston hair and beauty with Jess this morning, and it was my first positive experience with having a colour and cut that I absolutely love. Jess truly listened to what I was wanting, and provided me with a personalised experience. She was extremely friendly, her salon was very well set up, and it was relaxing to be in. Her Apprentice Elena also gave me a great wash and rinse …the best head massage I’ve ever had, it was so relaxing.Thank you for today, and for getting me in before the long weekend!Highly recommended.

Such beautiful service. Jess went above and beyond to help make my little girl girl feel as comfortable as possible when we had a little head lice issue. I was absolutely blown away by her kindness, generosity and amazing service. Jess made sure my little one felt as comfortable as possible and sent my little one home with a gift and choccies free of charge, this made my little one feel so much more comfortable and at ease. You are such a beautiful soul!The first time I booked an appointment with Jess, I arrived a little early, she was so lovely to offer me a generous blow dry, wash and treatment to compensate for them running a late. I was once again blown away by their kindness and the passion they put in and towards customer service is amazing. Always friendly and professional, I won't go anywhere else for a cut or colour. Great results every time.

Not recommend for male haircuts! Rushed/overuse of clippers, shortcuts/poor practices used, poor communication overall with customer and staff.Arrived early, younger staff misinformed to have me seated with hair cape on. Proceeded to waiting for longer then the haircut event went for, at the wrong seat. Asked experienced staff for straight textured fringe with taper fade. Received very high undercut, and was insisted to try a comb over fringe in both directions after to save her mistake. Was very apologetic, but instantly/frequently prompted to try a barber next time due to lack of knowledge on male haircuts. Was given Mondays discount to compensate.Initially used comb for side fade, before proceeding to level entire sides with no.1 attachment. Then aggressively used same no.1 clipper into skin to try and create some fade. Also aggressive around ears without even folding them aside. While cutting the top, twisting clumps of hair and slid regular scissors along to thin? Taking random chunks out of layers of hair to make things look even? No use of hair clips on top at all? Entire experience felt rushed. No questions asked/conversation during the cut.With such great reviews and location, fantastic website, diverse hair and beauty offerings, and fitting me in the day after ringing, I'm sadly very disappoint in my first time here. I strongly suggest they make serious improvements to men's haircutting quality or simply remove the service all together from their website, and advise anyone asking to try a barber before and not after their hairs been cut.

I have been a customer for almost 10 years and have always been very happy with the service. Jess is friendly and listens to how I would like my hair. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business.

Jessica and the team are great. Love the cozy atmosphere. They are very time efficient, care about your individual hair needs and make you feel welcome and relaxed. Definitely recommend their services.
