I've been training here for almost two years and I wish I had started much earlier. Trainers are fully qualified, class times are flexible, and the curriculum is both comprehensive and expertly taught. I'm proud to be a member of this Wing Chun family.

Having an interest in Martial Arts all my life, I’ve tried almost every mainstream martial art in the North Brisbane area. I found during this time that I could not find what suited me best. But after training in Wing Chun as a new student with Xiong Mao, I have realized I had finally found what I was looking for.My first impression of the school was that I was just not another number, and they are not keeping me there for my student fees. The Sifu and students are genuine, very friendly and knowledgeable. I would like to think I’m a good judge of character, and I could tell after the first few classes that the Instructors and Senior students are devoted to not only upskilling me but helping me be the best that I can be.There are no egos which was refreshing as I had seen this a lot at other places. The skills I have seen demonstrated by the instructors and senior students are of high quality. I’ve seen the kids classes in action as well and the instructors make learning lots fun for the little ones whilst still delivering the curriculum.If you are looking at learning a Traditional Martial Art with modern self defense applications, that is affordable and has flexible times, I would highly recommend Xiong Mao Wing Chun.
