I feel completely ripped off by this business. I had a fault with the brake lights and the electric brake controller for towing my caravan on my 4x4.The fault turned out to be a simple fuse yet I had checked the fuses that I thought related to the brakes. Not a problem there, I wore that one and now know what to look for. Yet it was explained to me that whoever had wired the electric brake controller had incorrectly wired it.So I said go ahead and fix it, I also waited there for the entire time whilst they fixed it.When I got the bill they not only charged me for the 2 hours labour but also $245 on top of that for stringing 1 wire through to the trailer plug which would have taken 30 minutes to do. I know this because I have installed the 12 volt systems in both my caravan and 4 wheel drive.So I was overcharged and double charged and after thinking about it. I remembered that the brake controller was already working before the fuse blew so they likely lied to get more money out of me. Of course that is very hard to prove.Needless to say I cannot recommend this busines and after my experience, would advise great caution if you intend getting any work done by South Coast Auto Electrics.

I called in to see if they could look at an electrical problem in my motorhome. They were friendly and helpful and whilst not able to locat the csuse of the problm (which turned out to be a switch issue) they did a work around to make things work to get me out of trouble. Just didnt look in the right place for the switch hidden behind a bottle in the cupboard (I did. However I appreciate that they were able to work around the problem and get me out of trouble.

Travelling home from Busselton and had an electrical fault come up and the car went in limp mode. Phoned south coast electrical and even though they were super busy they told us to come in and they will help if they can. We limped there and they were so helpful and such good guys. We were ever so grateful to get back on the road. Can’t recommend enough.

Rude and extremely hostile service, I had to get my interlock service done here the lady doing it was nothing but rude and unhelpful. I asked if she could bring up the results on the screen she said we don’t do that (rude tone) but other place that I’ve taken my car to have done. She booked me in on the screen without telling me until after in the office every other place I’ve been to they said it doesn’t matter as long as it’s within the 7 days and to ring up and we’ll book you in. I ring up today to book, you’ve missed your appointment on Friday and should have called to change it- like I mentioned in the pass it has never been an issue again the way she had an attitude over the phone is poor form from a business!

I've never been anywhere else since the first time I went there, and my opinion of them hasn't changed. Great, friendly and professional service. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody needing auto electrical services.

Absolutely not a professional, he looks the part with the shop, but he's a cowboy who shouldn't be in business. I was ripped off...car was towed back to him within a week of him installing a new alternator. He's useless.

Sorted us with a full solar red arc system. Trial run yesterday. Brilliant set up. Thanks for the work.

Did not have an appointment but helped us quickly when we needed to sort out our break lights. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will go back again for future problems
