Telstra Top Ryde

After many hours and on the phone and 3days with telstra, I decided to go to the Telstra shop at Top Ryde. Which I should have done in the first place, there was a very competent young man called Shiva, not only did he fix my problem but went onto putting the telsta app on my phone, which telstra told me would take up to 3weeks to fix. Thankyou so much Shiva.

5 star service. Had the best experience with the team. Replacing my wife's phone after she accidentally ran over it with her car. Thank you, Telstra Top Ryde.

Best customer service I’ve ever received in any Telstra store in the last 10 years. Today i went to your store in Top Ryde and was attended to by Sairesh who helped me with an e-sim and other info. He explained things to my understanding and was extremely knowledge. He deserves a raise / promotion / bonus!

Thank you Ramazan for helping me. Great customer service despite being busy snd short staffed. Had to wait s bit but once a attended they quickly got into action and resolved the issue. The store looks huge but not many people work there.

I was super excited to go to Telstra and transfer a phone number to my account and get a new phone - and I was excited to go to top ryde as opposed to Macquarie (the closer store) as I had previously had such lovely interactions with the staff. I went in and explained the situation and brought the forms and permissions I needed and we tried to submit the forms - I was then informed that there was a system error and was told it would take 24/48 hours to be fixed. I was fine with this and was told to call the store before coming in to make sure the system was working again. I tried calling the phone multiple times, however, there was no response. So the next day I went in store to check if it had been fixed and it hadn’t so I was told to come back the next day, however, still call before coming in to see if the system had been fixed. I called the store10 times throughout the day with no response. So I went into the store for the 3rd time and was shocked to see the store empty and staff there but no response on the phone. A different staff member to the weekend helped me and explained that there was still a system error and it was now my job to call the online team and try to fix the error - as “they are just customer service people and don’t fix technical issues”. I was told my father would have to make the call as he is the authority on the account - however, we were assured that all he needed to do as the owner of the phone number is fill and sign forms allowing Telstra to switch the phone number from his account to mine. I am utterly disappointed with the service I received with this issue. Ali though I was annoyed with the lack of process over the weekend, the staff member I had was very helpful and explained the situation to me, however, coming back on the Monday the person I had didn’t show me anything and told me there’s an error and it’s now my issue to fix. With this experience I’m pretty sure I will be switching providers to one where I will be helped and not told to do what I assume the workers are paid to do

Few days ago, I tried to move my current number to telstra but staff was so unprofessional and let me go with some stupid number to call make account by myself. I didn’t understand why they couldn’t open it!!! Felt so disappointed! And after a day, telstra at macquarie shopping centre they made it right away without any problem thanks to them.

I cannot praise the workers at the Top Ryde shop enough. Telstra was making me change my plans and SIMs on my iPad and phone. I had spent about 30 frustrating hours on the phone and ended up with no service. (Some people did try hard, it was complicated) They told me to go to a Telstra shop and at Top Ryde they had it all sorted in 45 minutes.

Bought new nbn plan here. As newcomer had some issues with ID identification so sales person here had to go through old registration system. Sairesh was very helpful and supportive. Got home internet within 2 hrs. Very happy.

The Telstra team at the Top Ryde store were excellent. I had a problem with my Telstra account where I couldn’t add Telstra One to my new Apple watch ultra - online chat support were not much help and had no idea (they tried to get me to reset both my watch and my phone!!!) and so I decided to go in store and get someone to help in person.Lucky I did because the team were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and resolved my issue! 10/10
