This humble gem of a place has been around for a year at the time of our visit. The menu is succinct, focusing on the right Malaysian staple dishes. They may look unassuming but packs a serious punch of flavour. My favourite is the chicken curry & the fried eggplant appetiser. Very reasonably priced, friendly lady/owner, we’ll be back for sure. Perhaps one day they could also add some Malaysian drinks on the menu, that would complete the whole experience :)

The laksa was too creamy and not enough spiciness to my liking. Nasi lemak was not bad; the rendang was good but the beef was a bit dry and chewy and the curry chicken was a bit different from what I would expect. Love their sambal though.

Oh baby, Kuali hits the spot!! Some of the best Malaysian food in Sydney. Food was outstanding and service is lovely.

Have only tried the egg sauce noodle and curry chicken but it’s definitely fresh and great portions. The chicken packs a bunch of flavour and spice so make sure you’re not faint hearted! I often buy some roti to fry up and it feels like I’m back in Malaysia eating the street food.

Ordered Singaporean noodles and beef rendang with jasmine rice for takeaway. It was delicious and an enjoyable meal. Would love to try other options in the menu

Fantastic food and friendly service.I've tried nearly everything on the menu and have been impressed by every dish. Spicy eggplant and sambal prawns are my favourite.Best salt & pepper squid too.So happy to have a great local option, hopefully they are here for a long time.Book a table if you want to eat in, the dining room is quite small and always busy.

A hidden gem in the inner west. The food is on point, authentic and delicious for a great price too! Proportion size is great for sharing with mates.The restaurant is clean and customer service is brilliant. Highly recommend to come by when you're in town

We are so happy to find a good Malaysian place in the hills. I have seen this place as we drive past and knew it was was small but still risked a walk in. When we arrived it looked like we were out of luck as it was packed, but we were ushered in to the last remaining table.We ordered curry puffs and the sticky eggplant for starters. The eggplant was amazing. Sticky, crispy crunch and cooked well. The curry puffs were nice but perhaps would have benefited from a dipping sauce.For mains we ordered curry chicken, beef rendang, and the stir fry broccoli with garlic.Both currys were delicious but personally we would have preferred more spice. The broccoli was outstanding and worth a return just based on this dish. Service was friendly and we were offered sambal which did help provide the spice we were chasing. Will return to sample more dishes, especially the Laksa which looks good. Please consider adding roti to the menu.

We’ve dined here in the past with no issues so I’m not sure what happened last night. The rendang beef lacked heat and the beef wasn’t seasoned. Worst part was the laksa. When I tasted the soup the first thing I tasted was the sweetness from the coconut milk. There was barely any chilli. The chicken pieces had small bones and cartilage and halfway through the laksa, I ate one of the pieces of tofu which I immediately knew was off. I had no intention of eating any more after that. 2 stars for the service and the spicy eggplant we had for entree which was amazing.
