Ava Jane Hair & Makeup

Jane did the hair styling for me, my 4 bridesmaids and my mum for my wedding in November 2022. She was very easy to work with and accommodating to all of our requests. I absolutely loved my hair which stayed perfect all day and night! I would definitely use Jane for any other events. Thank you Jane!!

I found Jane online and saw how highly she was reviewed. I did my wedding hair and makeup trial with her and immediately knew I had found my stylist!I generally don't wear makeup in my professional role and was concerned that I would look like a different person on my wedding day. I am also a woman of colour and have struggled to find the right makeup artist, especially in my prior experience where my skin tone was made to look shades lighter or darker.Jane was incredibly professional, listened to what I wanted, while giving me great advise. She was so warm and I had the best chats with her. She also colour matched my skin tone perfectly. I had many guests who commented on my makeup on the night of my wedding! Both my hair and makeup held on during the night too!Thank you so much Jane, for making me look and feel my best :)

Jane is beyond amazing at her work and extremely kind. We chose Jane for my daughter’s year 12 formal hair and makeup. And she did an incredible job. Hair and makeup looked perfect. She is extremely friendly , knowledgeable and skilled. Her attention to detail is second to none and she listens to everything you want. Can’t recommend her enough. Without hesitation Jane happily took on my large bridal group and done such a beautiful job. I didn’t even have to touch up on anything as everything stayed in place all night! Jane is an incredibly talented artist who was an absolute dream to have around for the wedding preparation. She had a calming presence and was always completely professional (even when I was at the peak of my nerves during the day). I really appreciated how flexible she was with offering to travel and for even staying in Marysville the night before to accommodate my early schedule. I loved all of our looks. My 4 bridesmaids and I all looked amazing and our makeup lasted all day and night which was great. She did exactly what I was looking for! I would recommend Jane to anyone I know wanting beautiful makeup done.

Jane comes highly recommended from me. She takes the time to understand what you're looking for and provides both skincare and haircare recommendations in the lead-up to a big event like your wedding. My first impression of Jane was one of absolute professionalism. She really listened to what I was looking for as a bride and made me feel so beautiful without making me look like a completely different person (something I've previously experienced!). I felt glamorous but at the same time felt comfortable in my skin which was important to me given I don't typically wear much make-up. Jane's calm presence also made me feel so relaxed on the morning of my wedding. We chatted about everything and it felt like I was hanging out with a friend. Jane is a wonderful makeup artist, she did my makeup for my wedding back in 2016 and we’ve kept in touch after all these years. She has gone on to do many of my friend’s weddings which I’ve referred to her and everyone has raved about her services. Next up she’s doing my sister’s wedding in April next year. She is professional, calm under pressure and just a lovely supplier to work with. Probably my favourite supplier in my wedding. You won’t be disappointed when booking Jane!
