Move it with Gina

Initial communication with Gina was positive and she seemed very attentive and involved in her business which I appreciated, however on the day the move was disappointing.The day started poorly with the team arriving close to an hour late, it was raining but this shouldn't have resulted in such a delay. The team also did not park in the correct location and only 2 removalists arrived despite requesting 3 and confirming this over the phone and in writing/on the quote. The team also did not have shrink wrap with them as advertised.I contacted Gina and no apology was made, but I was informed by the crew that another removalist and shrink wrap would be arriving and they turned up an hour and 45 minutes after the first 2 removalists.The team were careful and attentive and we did not have any damaged items but they were also very slow. This move took longer and cost significantly more than any previous move, this is especially disappointing seeing as previous moves involved multiple flights of stairs and this move had lift access on both ends.I also believe charging a payment processing fee for online payments is a bit out of order when it is the only payment method provided (makes their business easier to run) and you get hit twice because a deposit needs to be paid.I shared this feedback after the move and received acknowledgement from a member of the team who said it would be raised with Gina but I have never received a response. I would not use the service again

If you can't decide between a dozen choices of movers, a pink truck definitely stands out. From the get go, Gina was very responsive and helpful via text and email. She asked the right questions to help me organise the move as efficiently as possible. This personal touch is undervalued and much appreciated to make me feel comfortable.Her team, JP and Raphael, were friendly, quick, and excellent movers. They kept me informed via call when they were stuck in traffic. When they arrived, they got straight to business. They packed the pink truck like Tetris experts, making sure to pad and wrap fragile furniture, fridge, and television safely. They managed to squeeze a massive double door fridge through a smaller door through sheer strength and tenacity!They unpacked quickly at the new house and even helped to assemble the bed. This extra included in the quote was a welcome bonus. I'm happy to call them again in the future and give them another complimentary bag of lemons from my tree! Thank you!
