This is the latest renovated eating house in Taree and they have turned the joint around. Been the a few times now and the food is great, try the $20 Sunday Steak and schooner special, 300gram steak snd a Schooner of beer. Hard to beat. Veiws over the Manning river. Not a great photo. Great service from the staff. Please phone a head as it is usally very busy.

For Taree, it's not bad I suppose. But it's far from being great. Overpriced for what it is and there are more misses than hits.Location: Pretty much the only restaurant in Taree to make use of the lovely river views. But due to the poor design of the balcony railing, you can't actually see the river if you're sitting indoors.Service: Friendly but largely absent. Upon entering, there's no obvious place to go. We ended up asking at the bar about our reserved table. There's no welcome desk or area at all. Sadly, there is no table service, which a place like this really should have. Nobody asked if we were ok or needed anything.Food: Really mixed reviews. I had the gnocchi which was actually delicious ... But there were literally 9 gnocchi pieces and a little sauce and rocket leaves. At $24, that's $2.66 per piece! It's potato and flour ... Really a rip-off price. Both desserts we tried were just bad. I had the banana fritters with peanut butter ice cream. It was stodgy and bland and the ice cream actually came from Coles (yes, really... I know this particular ice cream well). You'd kinda expect store-made ice cream for the price.

Amazing wagu steak, ordered rare and it was cooked perfect and the sauce went so well. The kingfish sashimi dish i would expect from a five star resturant and the prawn bao buns were so good. The staff were so friendly, tables set well apart and nice chilled music at mild volume. A must try resturant at well worth it prices.

Beautiful venue, very average food for the price being charged. I'm happy to pay prices but I wasn't impressed with the quality received at this venue. Which was a shame because it really is a beautiful place!

Great set up, good view's and good chips. The worst margarita pizza I have ever seen in my life and a really tasteless beef burger...

I went to the waterfront pavillion to try it out. It is right near the river with great views. I wasnt disappointed with the food either. It has good service. The chips in beer batter were delicious and they were not oily....which these days is a surprise. The dessert of rose poached pear with icecream and pie was delicious. I could have done without the pear and more rum caramel icecream and pie. All was a good price too.
