I had arranged through the website: Service Seeking for Joseph Azzopardi (Happy Moose Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning) to remove a chocolate mark from my couch on 14/4/23 at 1.45pm. He had proceeded to clean the chocolate mark and then began cleaning the entire couch with other tools which was not agreed upon or consented for. My partner asked why he was cleaning the entire couch when we were only requesting a spot clean which he responded “I usually charge $120 for this you’re getting it for free” my partner advised that that was his choice and we had never asked or agreed to having our entire couch clean. The cleaning tools he had used over the entire couch has significantly discoloured our couch and he insisted that this was just because the couch was wet and to contact him when it had dried.. following this he asked for a cash payment and left our property. Ever since I have been in contact with him in regards to the damage to my couch, he has told me it’s no big deal and said “well the stains gone isn’t it”.I’m am extremely upset and appalled with this service, my partner and I are young adults who have spent months furnishing our apartment and to have a business owner come in and damage our couch is extremely upsetting. He has offered a refund which is not suffice as I now have to seek further guidance on cleaning the entire couch, where I had previously been charged for a spot clean, I am at a loss as my couch is expensive and I’m worried it is unfixable.
