Good “old fashioned” customer service delivering “modern and fashionable clothing”, I highly recommend such a positive shopping experience along with the beautiful clothing items you get to take home.I never do reviews but I thought Leonard St are definitely worth my time! I forget the name of the lovely young lady who served me at Gertrude Street late one Friday afternoon but she was “extremely helpful”, thank you!

There is always some special print or style that catches my eye at Leonard Street. They have really lovely designs that suit any age group. The staff are amazing and ready to help and what is great the clothes are ethically made. Well done Amanda and her team for producing such a high quality product which lasts for years and never dates.

I bought the cherry plum shorts and the forever top- cherry.The communication from Leonard street was quick and easy, my items arrived sooner than I expected and I love them both! The fabric is soft and lovely to wear and the print is divine. I love Leonard St clothing and have only bought in stored. This is my first online order and I’m so thrilled!

Great staff in the Carlisle street store. Love the clothes. This place promotes sustainable fashion. I've bought a few clothes from here - a dress, a couple of jumpsuits, fabulous fitting jeans, and a bucket hat. The clothes are well designed, and I love the prints.

Anna was super helpful and everything she picked out was perfect! She found things I wouldn't usually pick out for myself.Will be back for sure. Unique designs and a great experience.

Fabulous experience beginning to end. I was at a work training day and was distracted by the super cute jumper the trainer was wearing, she told me it was from Leonard Street. So when I got home, I got shopping ;) Wasn’t sure of sizing and got super quick (immediate), friendly and helpful advice. They just arrived and all three tops are gorgeous fabric, beautifully made and fit perfectly. And ethical to boot! Thank you! I’ll be back!

I love this Melbourne company . I have bought jumpers & dresses - all totally gorgeous quality . Ethically it ticks all of my boxes . I is a totally guilt free shopping treat which leaves you glowing.

Poor quality, poorer customer service, and no actual commitment to sustainability. I bought a pair of business shoes (still on sale, as pictured) that began to fall apart after a handful of uses during a lockdown year. Took them in to Watts Shoes in Carlton, who told me they weren’t worth repairing, and to make a complaint. Leonard Street refused to even acknowledge the fault! This defensive attitude comes straight from the top, and understanding this, I wIll never shop here again. I expect clothing to last more than a season, and a label to grasp its ethical and legal obligation to remedy mistakes and obvious QA failures. I note a few other negative reviews commenting on the owner's poor treatment of staff and refusal to repair or refund poor quality items. 0/10 experience, would not recommend. Melbourne has a plenitude of independent labels with more ethics and less greenwashing.
