SEM Group South Australia - Solar Installer

I've just had a 6.6 kW. solar system installed by SEM and couldn't be happier with the service from them. From the beginning to the end the process has been easier than I could have imagined. Damian explained to everything and gave me system that would give me the best outcome. Installation was incredibly fast. Two weeks from accepting the quote to completion.I would recommend SEM without hesitation.

What a smooth ride, from go to whoa the whole thing was seamless. The installers went over and above to finish the job in one day with intermittent showers all day and stayed untill 8 o'clock to make sure everything was running fine and that I understood what I needed to. Jason, Ben and Edward were a fantastic group of guys and I can't recommend them highly enough ( and Edward I'm sorry for calling you Andrew in another review).

The SEM guys were a pleasure to deal with. My new solar system was fitted quickly with a minimum of fuss. I found the consultant Damien and the SEM installers to be friendly, kowledgeable, efficient and professional.

From the first contact with Damian I felt valued. I was made to feel comfortable and confident with my decision to install Solar as everything I was concerned about or did not understand was explained in detail with honesty and respect. Nothing was too much trouble and I was never made to feel I was wasting his time by asking loads of questions. There was no waiting time in having it installed. The boys who arrived on time were polite and exremely professional. The job was efficiently completed that same day where after worked so hard Damon was more than happy to then go through everything they had done and how it all worked. A few days later Damian called by to ensure we were happy and to personally run through how the monitoring app worked. If you are after someone trustworthy, efficient , well priced using good quality components SEM are the people to call.

Steve is a great sales consultant, Reg a proficient installer, but Meg is the bomb.I've been having a communications issue where, my installation process was.. I want to say misplaced so I'm now behind in receiving my benefits. However once I've gotten a hold of Meg, she's smashed it. She's pushed to get my information fast tracked and been able to facilitate all this while keeping me updated.

The new Solar System is a winner. SEM Group were great from the start. They quoted via 'Solar Quotes' and were the only company among the 3 quotes that we received that called out in person to see us and go through all the questions about solar that we had.The price was on par with the other quality companies that were referred to us and we were pleased with the quality of service and install. We avoided the cheap advertised companies as I have read a lot of nightmare reviews about them, so chose to spend a bit extra.The system is now in place for a couple of weeks and working well, We opted for a Fronius Inverter with the standard panels for a 6.6Kwh system.After sales was also a pleasure with Mick from SEM SA taking a few calls regarding operation and questions about the phone app etc..I am happy to recommend SEM SA based on my experience (Nov 2020)

Using SEM has been nothing but a fantastic experience. As we knew little about Solar, finding SEM and the guys, from quoting to installation to fixing a slight problem, nothing has been too much trouble, would recommend them anyone.

SEM Group supply great advice followed by good service. Sales reps were honest and weren’t pushy, installers were on time, clean professional. Highly recommend.
