2 lovely ladies were very professional and great at putting my daughter at ease when she got her ears pierced today. She loves them. Thankyou couldn't have got it done without 2 people doing it otherwise she may have only got one done!! Thankyou again

Ladies were really nice and did my eyebrows exceptionally well. Was really sweet and fun to talk to, and only $17 !! Definately recommend and I'm definately going back!

I took my Daughter (8) to have her ears pierced today. She was nervous.. obviously... and accidentally said the wrong colour when pointing out which earrings she wanted (she said black when she meant red). One of the workers (the older one) not only picked up on what my daughter said making it obvious, but mimicked her after the piercing was done.. stating her 'black earrings' looked nice, then said 'sorry.. red earrings....' then stated she was just 'mucking around'. I don't appreciate anyone taking the mickey, especially with my daughter. It's free to be nice... just don't say anything if you're going to be a smart ar*e.

Excellent beauty studio. Wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful staff. Went in to get my daughter's ears pierced and they use two guns and were super awesome to deal with. Really fair price point so excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Paid $130 to have eyelash extensions applied. Three days later I had to have them removed because they were applied wrongly and I was in so much pain that I couldn't sleep. I wasn't offered a refund or replacement, I was offered $20 off my next appointment. By far the most disappointing experience I have had, will definitely be returning to my original eyelash technician.

I recently took my daughter and her friend for Piercing with Jane, she was extremely professional and kept the girls calm whilst doing the Navel piercing. Unfortunately after my daughter had her piercing done my daughter fainted, I was absolutely petrified as I have never seen her faint before. Jane and her colleague knew exactly what to do and took action immediately, they stayed calm and stopped what they were doing to attend to my daughter. I can't thank them enough for everything they did. My daughter and her friend are very happy with their results.I would have no hesitation in recommending Jane & the staff of Shimmer.

Worst piercing experience. The piercer shamed my friend for having a needle phobia and belittled her the whole time. When she came to do my piercing she was rude and short with me when talking about placement. Afterwards when she was finishing up she was very rough and when i asked her to be more gentle (because it was hurting me) she snapped and said “well i have to see the back of it”. She could have been more gentle with it instead of just shoving my ear around. Customer service was terrible and she acted like SHE didn’t want to be there let alone wanted US to be there. We won’t be back.

I've had my lashes done (extensions) multiple times, along with other waxing and tinting services! I wouldn't trust anyone but John to be my beautician! He is extremely talented and skilled. Shimmer is the only place I'll go!

Very friendly and professional staff, they helped keep me relaxed whilst getting my daith pierced would highly recommend them… The ladies here are awesome… Knowing that everyone is different my experience was instance, I had been suffering from a migraine for 9 days…
