Café Vita et flores - Springvale
Visited here after visiting mum's memorial. They have a good selection of foods on the menu, but very limited for younger people and children. Maybe some big cookies would be nice to have on offer.The atmosphere was very loud inside, maybe some noise dampening needs to be installed. Outside was toasty warm under the heaters.

Good food. Adorable.. clean and serene atmosphere.. It's a lovely place to catch up with Mum or a friend.. or even after visiting loved ones at the cemetery..Flower shop adjoining the cafe makes it more special

Nice clean cafe. Airy with neutral tones. Good spacing between tables too. The coffee was pretty good here. The scrambled eggs were pedestrian and ordinary though - pretty bland with minimal flavour. Service was just OK - good from some people, peremptory from others. My impression is that this place is a little too comfortable with its captured market and it needs a lift.

I live close by and there's not a lot of good cafes in the area. Glad i was curious enough to venture here given the location. It's a lovely botanical garden; quiet and peaceful. The food was very good. Would definitely come again to try the eggs Benedict. I had the chicken thigh salad which had avocado, mango, pickled cucumber, tomatoes and leafy greens and tortilla chips.

Lovely, clean, well set cafe, with good coffee and food and helpful staff, delivering excellent customer service. Cafe looks onto beautiful gardens and is attached to the florist shop with parking and toilets very close by.

Just a great place to visit past loved ones and remember them, enjoy the extraordinary gardens no matter what the season, have a delicious meal and feel like you're been somewhere special. And it's all so close to home. This is one of the gems of the southeastern suburbs and one of its best kept secrets. Enjoy.
