Best pies, best sausage rolls, best spinach pasties, best service. I highly recommend the chunky steak pie or chunky steak and mushroom, nothing else compares.

The lady serving was very rude. I didn’t get greeted, even after saying hello and she couldn’t be more rude through the whole interaction. Unfortunately, I purchased from this store. I will never go here again.

I was looking to try one of their pies. My friend bought 2 Shephard's pies but they had no pastry at all. According to Matthew O'Callaghan, chairman of the British Pie Awards, a true pie has to have a filling completely enclosed in pastry. However I'm not sure a Shephard's pie has pastry tho. Seemed expensive for basically casserole with a topping of potato.

Best sausage roll I've ever had. With most sausage rolls the pastry is overcooked, dry, and crispy. Not these ones, the pastry is flaky, moist, stretchy, and tasty, and the sausage in the middle is similarly moist and incredibly tasty! Doesn't need sauce! Almost enough to turn me into a sanger roll man as opposed to a pie man.

Walked into this famous yet homey neighborhood pie shop today for a few pies for takeaway. My wife said they were good, since she got to try them with friends before I did. Bought four and the family was quite happy with the selection. An aromatic cheesy steak was the highlight of the lot, although the flavourful chunky beef was a close second. The thick and creamy chicken and mushroom delighted my daughter, while my son wolfed down the shepherd's pie, topped generously with cheese. I heard the coffee was good but I was in such a rush I forgot to get one. Large and delicious, I think it was worth the cost. Will definitely be back.
