Enjoyed my stay .Friendly and welcoming community . Short drive to the river beach . May not suit a lot of people but i like to support small communities and the people there .

We arrived a bit late due to bad weather and parks closed, we were warmly welcomed once settled into a pet friendly pen (don't need to have our dog on a lead) joined everyone for happy hour, great team work from manager/cook/grounds men,highly recommend this great park

Great experience, good price. Thoroughly enjoyed the burger, chips and cheap drinks around the fire at happy hour. Definitely worth a stay. Found the ideal present for a granddaughter in a very eclectic range of items.

Great place to visit and stay over.Incredible quirky joint.We saw the ad for “Old time Cinema” and had to check it out.Happy hour round the fire, $5 beers, $3 soft drinks, $7 mixed drinks.Food was excellent!Try the Wedges, Good Burgers, and other menu items.

Whilst caravaning in outback Queensland i went off the sealed road to look for a scenic spot at Wyandra (The Beach). Got stuck on 4 inch thick sludge/mud with a front wheel drive towing a small van all with road tyres. Had phone service so phoned Bec at the general store who got her husband Craig to come and tow me out. no judgement - he just got out the big chain (like he had done it numerous times before) Then i spent some time getting to know them & show my appreciation. Salt of the earth!!! Good people like that make life that much easier.

An unusual and fabulous place to stay. Really cheap but immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. Really interesting stuff around the site and in the shop and Glenn was a lovely host. Stay here and support wonderful local resources.

Great place, the general store has a lot of items in there for you to buy. I stayed for a while in the park behind, Well worth the visit. Great Food ( burgers, pizza, fish & chips etc ) Glenn also does tours around the town area in his Off Road Buggy.

A must stop if you're going this way. Friendly and accommodating Manager who has Happy Hour every day so guests can meet, does a meal for you and puts on Newsreels in the onsite Cinema.
