I have been with Red Energy for years. Just getting a bit frustrated that no one in customer services seems to know the process for getting a gas line moved. The first person needed 5mins to find out the answer, then the call disconnected, I called back and was told “no, we don’t handle that request you need to call the gas supplier”, called the gas supplier who promptly told me to call Red Energy back as they are responsible for raising the service request… called Red Energy and was told she needed 2-3mins to find the answer. 12mins later I am told that she has spoken to the services team and they will be raising a service request and that my gas supplier will be in contact with me. Hang on a second, my gas supplier said they don’t move the line, Red Energy do?! Who is responsible for what???? No one seems to know. I then ask when the services request will be completed, today I am told. Oh great, what time? This afternoon or maybe tomorrow morning. Well, tomorrow morning is not today. Grrrr….can I speak to the service team please? No, they don’t take calls or speak to people.Huh? So I cannot directly talk to the individuals that are now handling my relocation of services request?Please update your customer service staff on the process and allow customers to speak to the services team.I’ve sent you an email with my details Leticia. I hope you can help me out!!

I switched providers from Energy Australia to Red Energy a few months ago as I'm having building works performed at my home. I was advised my the tradespeople that there was no power. I contacted Red Energy who advised that electricity had been connected and there were no power disruptions and if I had any further issues, I had to organise for an electrician to conduct an assessment. I did as advised and arranged for an electrician to perform an inspection, only to find out that there was no power supply connected.I'm very displeased at Red Energy for not connecting my power correctly and for providing misinformation as this has cost me time and money as building works had to be delayed. I will be switching back to my old provider.

Worst service ever , highly suggest origin energy , worst part i have never been declined for any credit in my life and red did decline me as worse part is i have property, shares and savings and work in finance my self - i do not suggest any to waste time with red energy. They take no ownership at all shame on you read , any one new thinking about joining red think again before you do an application and look at other companies . Shame on you red. ( i checked my credit score it is actually good, each client i talk too as i am in finance i will inform them to look at other companies and the arrogance red my credit rating is 800 plus what are you on!!!

Here my issue, I’m moving houses. If I want to keep red energy in my next property it’s all easily done can do all online. However, if I don’t my life is made a nightmare. No option to do online and on telephone I’m abused for willing to set it more than 40 days before move out date. Why the bias in favor of staying with Red Energy? That alone, destroyed any trust and the desire ever to be with Red again.

Very bad experience so far,just looting the customer!! I believe they are not taking the meter readings.. We live in a 2 bedroom unit with normal electricity usage,TV,fridge,washing machine,aircon.3 people living and the bill comes $1000.we have already changed connection to another provider and the final bill came for 48 days $360..unbelievable robbery..once contacted the customer service they said they can’t do anything!!!

This company had been charging me on tariff 1 (the highest electricity rate) on all my electricity including my hot water service since 2014. I had bills monthly for $300 even when their was no one living in it. I tried to speak to their resolution team to get them credit or to even refund all those high bills I paid and then refuse to. They also went to the next level and gave me a bad credit rating because I refuse to pay for a bill which they had money owing to me regardless. KEEP AWAY FROM THE DODGEY COMPANY.

I called the Red Energy customer service number to see if I could get a better deal on my electricity and after answering the relevant questions l was pleasantly surprised when a well spoken lady who was based in Melbourne, not an overseas call centre, gave me a better deal on my electricity.All done in a few minutes.Well done Red.Fantastic customer Service, Go Aussie.

Beyond useless. Have absolutely zero idea of any legal requirements they are required to follow, multiple people giving out their own idea of the rules. All of which are different, almost 2 years of ongoing issues of bills and they still can't get it right.

Poor customer service, spent 1 hour but not satisfied with the response. Also, transferred my call 4times and seems they have no idea how to solve my problem. Please hired the experienced staff at least we get the answer.
