Had both cars service over two days very helpful when asked if they could check a couple of concerns on one car received text message when services were complete when I arrived to collect car my concerns with car had been check and confirmed that there were no issuesWould recommend these guys and will be using them again

Not confident about this place. I was told that I needed a new turbo, they promised me a quote as I left. I emailed a week later asking for a quote, non arrived. I rang a few times, still no quote. So I had another mechanic look at it. It was a few very corroded hoses that needed replacing ($30 worth). Turbo is fine.Perhaps they were having a bad day?

I ordered a rooftop tent through Benchmark Diesel Services as they are the Darwin supplier for Kings Rooftop tents, initially I had discussed getting a Qwiky Pop Up tent, but after discussions with Benchmark, I changed my plans and booked in to get a bigger rooftop tent fitted. The day before I was due to have to rooftop tent fitted, they phoned and told me there had been a mix up and they had sold the last one, and I'd have to wait until 2022. So my Christmas plans are ruined, and they say that they're as disappointed as I am. I really doubt that, I'm sure their plans for Christmas aren't ruined. If I could give zero stars I would

Called Benchmark up chasing a race works part for some intake piping. Bloke over the phone was friendly and super helpful. They didnt have the part in stock but were able to get it in overnight. Will definitely be using them in the future.

This company should be reported to the diesel fitter/ mechanic association or there equivalent.I had them do injector orings on my f250 at the end of last year. After spending nearly 4200 dollars with them after several discussions and works. Turns out they have a plumber working as a mechanic along with some very incompetent tradesmen. They palmed me of to another mechanic who doesn't answer his phone. In working on my f250 they broke the dipstick . They had an earth wire wrapped around the steering column . The fire wall retardant was damaged . A socket was found in engine bay . I had another mechanic look at truck and he found rocker cover bolts loose . The people at Benchmark are rogue operators and will be receiving an invoice for the repairs. I doubt whether they will pay but court action will commence

Can not recommend!Got my rear brakes replaced as per there recommendation.I had to take the car back the next day as the rear failed within the short distance driving home after picking the car up the1st time from them.They told me to bring the car back to there shop after reporting this to them to re inspect it.When I finally got it back the second time, the issue they told me was they did not tighten up the adjuster properly which let go, but they assured me everything was good to go. {Forget to tighten something when your dealing with something as important as breaks?}Drove the car too WA Cue the next few days as I had to be back for work the next week and the adjuster let go again inside the drum, this time causing complete destruction of the left rear brake assembly.Limped the car 600ks to Perth, this was after getting fitters from the mine site I worked at near Cue to get my rear left brake patched up good enough to get me going again, which took some time as the mine site was remote and I was able to fly in and out until they could get my car going again.Took the car into a brake specialist in Perth, they replaced everything brand new both sides including new drums for near the price I was charged at Benchmark to replace just the pads and labor.Returned back to Benchmark when I finally returned to Darwin with photos as posted below of the damaged caused from the adjuster letting go again and not to my surprise they clearly were not interested and excused themselves from any form of wrong doing as they told me they did not need to replace the old original brake adjuster even after it failing the 1st time around which they assured me they fixed after getting the car back from them for the second time in 2 days..These guys should stick to selling seafood and leave the mechanics to the professionals...

The worst business I have ever had to deal with in 20 years. They had my vehicle for over 2 months, it isnt fixed and they tried to charge me for things they never did. Liars and cheats.

I took my land cruiser in for a service and repairs and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The knowledge in the team and how thorough they were in diagnosing and repairing issues has set an absolute benchmark for quality! Unfortunately I had some poor work done by previous mechanics refitting a ball joint which caused an oil leak and contaminated grease to the bearings among other things! Now my cruiser has never driven so well!! Absolute professionals! Thanks team you guys are absolute legends I appreciate everything!

Outstanding service from all the team at Benchmark. I needed brakes replaced and despite it being the busy season I was booked in and job done within 2 days. Excellent communication, and fantastic friendly staff.Brilliant team there, these guys are the real deal A+
