Brockley Estate

We had a lovely stay at Brockley Estate. The original heritage sandstone farmhouse has been sensitively and lovingly restored and sits on the hill overlooking the farm with the river in the distance. The view from the verandah at dusk is perfect with a glass of wine and some local Tasmanian cheese! Our room was luxuriously furnished and the food, with produce sourced locally, was delicious. A must stay on the way to the East Coast of Tasmania.

Such an amazing place...

We stayed for three nights and were extremely happy with the place. The hosts are kind, thoughtful and helpful whilst also giving the guests a free rein of the house, seemingly materialising immediately as I thought of something to ask or when dinner was to be prepared. To speak of which, the dinner is highly recommended which is a godsend given the scant selection of restaurants within perhaps fifty kilometres - Spanish themes prevail with multiple courses (and a marvellously stocked wine cellar) combining to give absolute contentment before retiring. Complete with ten thousand acres of land, the estate is extensive and sprawling - giving the guest a wonderful feeling of seclusion even while in comfortable driving range of such excellent sights as Maria Island and Freycinet peninsula. Very well recommended.

It's a good place I house to live there

My husband and I had an fantastic stay at Corinda House. So beautifully restored. Both Julian and Chaxi were exceptional hosts and the breakfast was delicious with ample choices. Highly recommend to stay here.

Highly recommended. Very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.The large bedroom is luxurious and cosy when the fire is crackling in the hearth!

We stayed in the cottage outside of the main property. The overall stay was good and the hosts were very kind but it felt as if part of the house was falling apart and at night it got a little scary... I felt like the doors should have had better locking systems. A cozy stay, definitely, but it shouldn't have been so expensive.
