Bakers Delight Top Ryde City

Recent visit on the weekend was very disappointing. Bought the Custard & Almond Log $7.50. The quality has gown downhill. Could not taste any custard and it wasn't baked properly, felt like it was just dough. Please review your baking process, it used to be enjoyable. Will not return.

Recent visit, dinner rolls dry and burnt. I asked for a refund and was refused but instead was offered one free dinner roll (thinking it would also be burnt and dry anyway i passed). Overall disappointed wont be returning unless this place unless the management changes.

got a chocolate sponge cake. worst cake i had ever. the sponge was dry, the cream had absolutely no taste whatsoever. i should have baked myself and saved soem $$ :(

Really good customer service best bakers delight I have been too the bread quality is really good especially the tomato rolls and the Hawaiian pizzas really recommended

Got a Danish - Tasted Average. Couldn't hear what different types they were and had to repeatedly ask but still couldn't catch one in the end. Custard, Apricot and some other one. I don't generally buy stuff from here because everytime I walk past, I see flies buzzing around inside. But today, I didn't see any and forgot all about it! Oops.

Staff are very friendly and the bread top notch

I’ve purchased in excess of four loafs of bread on different occasions and every single time there are massive holes in the middle. its like a mouse has eaten through it.

The bun is good. But the customer service is so so so poor. No smile or enthusiasm at all. Wouldn’t go back again.

Bread is always nice and fluffy here, plus the girl who works Friday/Saturday mornings is lovely!

Reading it once again reminded me of how I felt at the time and decided that I would like my experience to go on record.Now here is a little story of millennial mean-spiritedness. It was late in the afternoon at Top Ryde, on Anzac Day, 2020, and, walking past the Bakers Delight shop just outside Woolworths, I decided to buy a dozen hot cross buns. It was late; around 17:30 and it appeared that they were in the process of packing up for the night. I leaned down to check that there were 12 hot cross buns in the tray and there were 13, in actual fact. As a few had been separated, I asked the young, bearded, hipster assistant whether they would be alright; that they hadn't dried, seeing as though some had been separated. No, he assured me, they would not have dried out. As he knelt down he carefully bagged up two lots of 6 hot cross buns in two separate bags, leaving the one, 13th hot cross bun on the shelf which was immediately scooped up by his, equally young, millenial female colleague and thrown into the pig-feed sack".
