Australia Post - Cockatoo LPO

The new owners should never of purchased this business. The guy in there has absolutely no people skills and is definitely in the wrong job

I visit the post office nearly every day and I’m always greeted warmly and receive excellent service. Thanks for serving our community- I appreciate your hard work.

Super annoyed got a package delivered to a friends house in cockatoo under my name in case it got lost wasn’t aware that it had to come to this post office and my friend isn’t allowed to touch the parcel tried to call to say that she can take it no answer and no one contacted me to say the parcel was there had to hear through my friend I ordered it for Christmas and still no help mid way through January

Happy enough with the experience, but with many of us working 9-5 jobs and with no mail delivery in our area, we're almost forced to get a PO box, which we don't really want to have to fork out money for. Perhaps if you're not gonna deliver mail, stay open late enough for us to get it ourselves?

We now know why this post office receives such a low rating. We popped in before Xmas to pick up a package, they told us it’s been sent onto NSW and we’d have to contact them. They printed out the tracking slip for us (the only customer service thing they did.) It shows they have either given the package to someone not associated with our PO Box or they have re-directed it to a post office In NSW. I returned after Xmas to be told I need to ring Australia Post. Today via another post office we have been told that the parcel is officially lost. I wouldn’t complain if Cockatoo post office had at least owned their mistake but they stone walled us and didn’t care the slightest bit about helping us find our package that they lost.

I prefer this post office over the one in Emerald, because the line here moves quickly.

Not only lacking the bare bone basics of customer service and human politeness they were also extremely rude when I went to collect a parcel, saying that by using click and collect at their location made their job harder and confusing and told me to order it to my own house. I would avoid this place at all costs if possible, and if not, just get in and get out.Left the place feeling really annoyed. Would not recommend in the slightest.

Those guys don't deserve the low rating they currently have!I moved to the area 4 months ago and all my experiences with them have been consistently great.With no postal street service on many streets, they are a vital service for the village community and they always greeted me with a smile and did what they could to serve me in the best possible way. They advised I could get a better deal for mail redirection and saved me money.One Saturday I arrived about 12:20pm (they close at 12pm), got my mail from the PO box and saw there was a parcel slip in there. At this moment a postman was leaving the office via the back door. He saw me, saw the parcel slip and I didn't even have to ask him, he took the slip and returned with the parcel a few minutes later - he definitely didn't have to, as it was after hours! I feel very grateful to have such a friendly crew there.

Ever since change of owners externally bad service always rude the young boy all always on his phone. My mother went to go pick up a package for me using the email I got from Australian post to pick it up with all the details of the package and the refused to give her the package and where very rude about it. I don’t see how you can’t give someone the package if the have an email from Australian post with all the details? All they kept saying is we need the slip well it’s the same bloody thing with my details on it same address name ect as what’s on the email. Yet a few weeks ago they allowed another package to be picked up with the email from Australian post I don’t understand?? Never had any issues with the old owners. Might try and see if I can get all of our things to go to emerald post office at least the staff are always friendly and nice
