Doll Hospital

I have now had 6 dolls restored at the Sydney Doll Hospital. They were from the 1950's and I was absolutely delighted with the results.My granddaughters came with me to choose new wigs for the dolls and they loved the display of old and new dolls. Thank you.

I was surprised by 100 years in business they only had a few ugly doll heads with little concern for my precious porcelain doll. I sent a picture by email and if she had bothered looking at the heads, she would have known they had nothing similar to my European dolls face, not even the same colour, however she commented my doll was mass produced somewhere in Asia, of little value and when they broke they were thrown away, well luckily I have mine because I seem to be the only one with that dolls face as it can't be found anywhere, so now it's rare. When I asked about repair she didn't have too much knowledge or information about where I could get help. Gave me a name however I would have called or shown more interest to a customer in that business especially with something of sentimental value. Disappointed with the service.

I would like to thank the professional and talented team of staff at Sydney Doll Hospital. I picked up my 43 year old stuffed monkey today and was so happy to see the amazing job they had done. He was in urgent need of repairing and they did a fantastic job. They were able to replace the fur and stuffing on his torso, arms and legs whilst still salvaging his hands and feet as well as his head in order to preserve his character. I would recommend Sydney Doll Hospital to anyone looking to have their sentimental items repaired! Thank you thank you!!!

We sent my special porcelain doll, who has seen better days, to Sydney's Original Doll Hospital for a spruce up. She came back to us today looking so beautiful. She has new hair and the Hospital made her a whole new outfit which matches the old one so closely and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Nadine and the wonderful team of doll doctors at the Doll Hospital for the fantastic job you have done for us.

Nadine from the Doll Hospital gave my Mum’s 1950s teddy a wonderful revamp. Mum, as a child, had carried him around by his arm & ears resulting in Nanna repairing his arms. Nadine kindly repaired both his arms (which now move), filled out his face, repaired his mouth & nose, gave him a new squeaker & new elastic on his little shorts. She even gave me his old arms back. Nadine was timely, efficient & a good communicator. I would recommend the Doll Hospital for potential customers looking for a makeover for their heirlooms.

I'm a bloke. I've grown up hating dolls. But the love of a daughter and wifely demands ultimately meant I too was involving in 'Saving Sally'.You see, 'Sally' is 30yrs old. My wife grew up with her and handed her down to our eldest when she was born. Gradually it became apparent Sally desperately needed a makeover, or risk an untimely demise, and we couldn't wait much longer.Enter the 'Doll Hospital' ... In two short weeks, Sally was returned looking like a completely new doll. I don't know what sorcery goes on in the quaint looking workshop on site, but these people are magicians.All told, it averaged out to be about $9 a year, to fix 30yrs of love and abuse. A new body, re-stitched limbs, a re-painted head, and I'll be god damned if they haven't worked a miracle.Dads !Highly impressed.Highly recommended.

Beautiful dolls and bears, had a craft room cleanout so donated all laces, ribbons and what I thought they could use in their restoration of their dolls and bears, well worth a visit.

The Doll Hospital delivered lovely service and were able to restore a childhood stuffed toy Monkey to its former glory. Would highly recommend.

I read all the reviews and was skeptical. Dropped my granddaughter's doll that needed new eyes and lashes. Five days later she was done and she is absolutely beautiful. Staff was extremely professional the cost was reasonable for working on a 30 year old doll that used to belong to my daughter.
