Pacific Smiles Dental, Dapto

Dr Wang was great. He did a great job fixing my broken tooth (zero pain!) and was kind and considerate (especially as I get a bit anxious at the dentist).

I took my daughter to Pacific Smiles Dental Dapto for her first ever dentist visit. She is on the spectrum and very nervous as it was her first time. Dr Nguyen was very impatient and pushy with her. I was just after an introduction to the dentist for her and a quick look at her adult teeth that had come through. I wasn't expecting a full tooth by tooth analysis which is what he tried to do. I explained all this upon entering the room. He did not explain anything to her before he did it, and was forcefully trying to put the air dryer in her mouth even though she was petrified. He gave up after 5 minutes and said he couldn't see anything and it was a waste of time. He made us feel bad because he couldn't complete the examination. Now my daughter has a bad experience to remember her first visit to the dentist and its going to make it more difficult to get her to go next time. We will not be coming back here.

One of the better dentists I’ve been to. Dr Nguyen is thorough and more gentle than previous dentists I’ve experienced for a general clean, explains everything as he goes and makes sure to check in during the treatment that I’m doing ok. Provides advice for at home care as well.

Visited for a well overdue check up and clean. Great care was taken with the clean. Easy to book and quick to get in.

On my first time here I arrived on time for my 10 am appointment and wasn't seen til 10:30, no explanation or apology for wait time. The receptionist girl wasn't warm or friendly.The dentist and his assistant were very nice and efficient. They were very good. I really recommend Dr Charlie Wang and his assistant, they were fantastic!! They made me very comfortable and answered all my questions.I have a young baby and it was a juggle to leave him with my husband who was working, so this was very frustrating.Second time here, sitting waiting as I write this, I arrived at 10:55 for my 11am appointment. It is now 11:15 and I'm still waiting. Again, had to leave baby with hubby who was working. When I arrived the shutters were across the door, seemingly showing dentist was closed. I rang the phone twice with no answer. I ended up calling out hello" through the shutters and finally someone came out. Again

I faced one of my biggest fears going to the dentist. But they were soo kind, very patient and informed me every step of the way. Going next Friday for a root canal.

The dentist and staff were amazing and very professional! Already rebooked :)))

Very thorough, great service. They called to let me know they were running a little late. Convenient operating hours.
