The MEDICARE REBATE claims are held over for an unreasonable amount of time, I consider 1 week to be unreasonable.

I went out of desperation due to excruciating sinus & facial pain. I had sinus surgery no.2 booked in the future & needed botox to relieve the pain until surgery. I had on going sinus problems & had an accident where my horse had got a fright & smashed her head into my face. I was told by reception wprs could do the botox no problem.i went to appt with my hospital report of horse injury & found myself having a consult not botox as had been told. I asked about using the billing code for the botox as done elsewhere. Second appt I was so rudely told by Dr Emma renouf her husband did not think it was sinus or injury related but a cosmetic want. I was furious but had the botox out of sheer desperation to lessen the pain. They were rude & dismissive. I had surgery to then find out my whole sinus region was completely full of scar tissue & the trauma was significant. The surgeon couldn't believe how long I had been like that. So I was really quite furious to be not taken seriously from wprs . This is a few years ago now & they were so rude to me it still is very fresh in my mind. Listen to your patience you don't know everything !!!

Would give 0 starts if was possible. Unprofessional on all possible levels; medically and personally. Never witnessed such a poor service and medical attention. Save yourself the trouble and go straight to Melbourne or literally any other place for medical attention.

Molemap: Great proactive service. As Australia has a very high skin cancer rate, I do not understand why it is not embraced more by all health funds and government.

I have been attending WPRS for several years and have found the doctors and nurses knowledgable, and the reception staff friendly and helpful.

Wide excision of melanoma and sentinel lymph node biopsy Jan 2020. I found Mr Robert Toma to be an excellent surgeon. He did not rush the initial appointment nor promise the world in regard to the skin graft which can be tricky. He is very approachable. Very impressed also that after the operation, he organised for antibiotics, anti inflammatory and a blood thinner to give the shark bite" wound in the calf area the best chance. Very neat work too. Everything worked out very well. Lovely nursing staff and reception staff too. WPRS dematologist

Have lived most of my life in the tropics and experienced many skin burns over the years. For the past 20 years I have had BCC's and SCC's removed. Skins excisions, Efudex cream and MOH surgery. I went to WPRS with concerns as I was experiencing intense itching on various places on face, close to where a SCC was removed. Was told my skin looked fine come back in a year. I also overheard the Locum who checked me out and another more experienced doctor discussing me outside the door. Disgusted about my treatment and their lack of concern I went home and applied Efudex to some itchy spots. Efudex works by destroying precancerous and cancerous cells, while having little effect on normal cells.I am attaching a photo of my face after 2 weeks application. Do not recommend WPRS. Compared to the 5 star rating for Skin Cancer Clinic in Melbourne where I attend for my MOHs surgery WPRS rate 1 star.
