Point Cook Dog Training & Day Care

Took my beautiful border collie puppy here for the puppy classes, attended doggy day care and private lessons. The trainers are just fabulous here. Caring, knowledgeable & empathic. Grace loves coming here every time. Highly recommend it. The training classes are fantastic super helpful. Can't wait to bring Grace back for the canine classes.

Chiara is absolutely incredible in her dog training.I just finished a puppy course with her and can not be happier with all the things my pup has learnt, not only is she amazing at helping pups learn she is very knowledgeable with dogs who are struggling in fear aggression, she helped my older boy so much and can not be more thankful.100% recommend chiara to everyone who cares about there dogs.

As a first time dog owner, I have felt incredibly supported during such a crucial time of a puppy's life. Chiara has been so knowledgeable and professional both in classes and communication. I was recommended Point cook dog training by a friend and am so thankful for the recommendation. I enrolled my puppy and during the 6 week puppy school, he and I both learnt so many new commands and lots of other important information regarding health, deterring bad behaviour, exposure.Thank you Martine and Chiara, highly recommend your classes.

Not a good experience.YOU REMOVED YOUR ORIGINAL COMMENT, JUST GOES TO SHOW!!!!!!I was the one who said she doesn't like your daycare set up. So saying she didn't pass is a lie!! Shame on you!!! She's been going to daycare since she was 2months old. I didn't like your mannerisms, that is why it was a bad experience. Putting a stuffed dog in front of an intelligent animal was also extremely frustrating to see. It took me a while to post my thoughts of my experience.Ps: also, you can't do an assessment in 5 or 10mins. Thats how long we were at the daycare when i decided to leave. You were the only staff member there. You even asked me to come back in a month or so as we were new to the area. I decided never to go back to your daycare.Mannerisms were bossy, and unprofessional. I honestly have never had to stay with my pup during an assessment at daycare. Enough said, you asked and I replied. Safety is number 1 on my list when it comes to my pup. You didn't have the resources to ensure safety in my opinion and that's why I decided to not use your daycare and never return. It's also an extremely tiny space for large breed dogs which you knew of prior to the appointment.

Aggressive Schnauzer in her territoryChiara came to visit us in Italy.The problem of our schnauzer 5 yr old female was : nobody enter the house territory.Chiara resolved the problem in 5 minutes! But more...She passed to us the key to mantain the problem resolved.Despite many italian instructors told us to apply several solutions, the problem could not be resolved.Now we have uderstood how to manage it and keep it solved,overpositioning the positive reinforcement in those moments in which Maia ( our schnauzer) turn into aggressive behave.In few days of training , Maia problems are disappearing.Brava Chiara. thanks a lot. We had to wait 5 years and an australian dog trainer coming from Australia to get rid of the problem.Thanks again

We signed up to this puppy class on Thursdays at 8pm. The initial emails in preparation of the class seemed professional and we were looking forward to it. However, a few days before the timing was suddenly changed to from 8pm to 7pm without asking us or even considering that some people may not be able to make the earlier time.Then a few days later the class was cancelled altogether at short notice due to the trainer Chiara falling sick. While we understand that people fall sick, one would expect another trainer to take over since this school should have more than just one trainer.Given the timing change and short notice cancellation, we informed them we won‘t be joining the puppy class anymore as it‘s not reliable enough for us. What followed is what shocked us most:Chiara sent us a rude email, ranting about whether we would have preferred a class with a feverish trainer. This was uncalled for since we never said anything about wanting her to show up sick. Again, this school should have more than one trainer so people can step in if someone falls sick.Chiara’s behaviour was not only rude and unprofessional but also cast a big shadow of doubt on how a trainer with such poor manners could possibly teach our puppy good manners.

A highly qualified trainer owns and manages this business. They recently relocated to a super suitable position. We held 2 puppy parties over the last two weekends. Excellent fun and great value! I highly recommend Point Cook Dig Training and Doggy Daycare.

We took our pup Tony to the puppy pre school and really enjoyed it. Chiara is extremely knowledgeable and it was great for us as first time pet owners. Would thoroughly recommend and we do plan to take the follow up course as well. Further to that, the price charged was very fair for the amount we got out of it.

Chiara and her team are amazing!I was recommended to her by my vet and have not looked back.Jäger did the puppy class and was very nervous and had anxiety. The team knew what to do and helped guide us as pawrents for the little ones. Jäger still remember all commands from classes despite being 3 years ago!And recently, I had taken my husky to her classes; Puppy and Canine One. Utterly amazing! Chiara and Mel had so much patience as Remy was a very nervous puppy and did bark at everything! Going back for classes, Remy was more comfortable in the learning environment and even started to run to the rooms as he was excited to learn!They will make sure your dogs are comfortable and ready to learn.I cannot recommend them enough!
