We had a need to get a new telephone line set up in our home in preparation for the NBN. Living in Maldon I had no idea who or where to go to for this, so I used the good old Google and up came a search tool for tradies called “oneflare”.With “oneflare” you put your details in to what you want and the type of trade or service you are seeking. This search tool puts out your job to all related services in your area.So I did all this and hit the send button. Well within less than an hour I had a contact from Sam of Touch Automation.Hallelujah, Sam to the rescue. What a great young man and he is so switched on with communication technology. He told me the best option he thought would suit our needs for NBN/WIFI in our house. He visited our home prior to doing the work and gave me great reassurance I knew we had the right guy to do our job. Sam is highly knowledgeable with modern communication technology and genuinely interested in your requirements, not to mention his passion for his work he does and he keeps his appointments too. Sam installed the new phone point and a WIFI point on our ceiling central in the house. Oh, and did you know he is a qualified electrician also so he put another power point in for the modem. After the NBN people came to set up the NBN Sam came back to ensure all was set up and running and checked our internet speed 40 times faster than what we were previously using. We were most impressed and cannot recommend Sam and Touch Automation highly enough. Do not hesitate to contact Sam for your communications or electrical work. Also he left the job squeaky clean. His costs were nothing scary and well within what you would expect. We were more than happy with his charges. This is an entrepreneurial young man to watch out for the future in Bendigo, thankyou Sam for all your great work and making life easier with WIFI for us. Hit a mains power line at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Had a Google search and thank god I found Sam. With a video call and some photos he quickly headed out to the suppliers to get everything needed to fix the problem. He also contacted the proper authorities to have the power disconnected from the house that night and visited the site on the Friday night to touch base.After the power was disconnected on the Friday night he was out as soon as he could on the Saturday morning to fix it up, provided a Certificate of Electrical Safety, and organized for the power to be turned back on shortly after he was done.Could not recomend Sam enough. Went out of his was to help, was very friendly, and his pricing is great. Could not have been happier with his service. He is now my choice of electrician.

Chasing an electrician to undertake a number of electrical works (TV mounting, ceiling fans, down lights) at my home, I found most were consistent with their pricing and fortnightly (or thereabouts) turnaround time.I stumbled upon Sam at Touch Automation and was lucky to. Sam took the time to understand my needs and budget and his quotation soon after immediately knocked those who quoted before him out of contention. His offer to cut into his holidays to complete my electrical works within a couple of days also did not go unnoticed.Sam spent the day here diligently working away at the various electrical works, even making several trips to various suppliers to ensure that all units supplied by him would aesthetically suit the style of my home. When he was finished he cleaned up thoroughly, provided a Certificate of Electrical Safety and issued an Invoice to me that was consistent with the quotation he had provided, even in circumstances where he had spent substantially more time then he had initially estimated.This is all to say I was thoroughly and completely impressed by Sam and Touch Automation and would have no hesitation in recommending him - in fact I have already arranged for him to complete further electrical works at my parents’ home.Well done Sam, brilliant job.
