They are so friendly and the bill is always reasonable. I've never had any issues in the six years I've been using them. Very smart vet practise.

Amazing service and a very deep level of care for your pet. I love how they take the time with you and your pet at each visit. I’ve never felt anything but completely valued here. They love your pet as much as you do.

Sutherland vet were superb as they helped us say goodbye to our beloved family dog. Advice was clear, empathetic and honest , and we were able to be seen that evening. There was no bill shock, and all possible expenses were communicated ahead of time, including options for return. All staff were professional, caring and empathetic. Tom gave us a brief professional assessment confirming we had made the right decision and treated Lexie with great care as he eased her passing. I would strongly recommend this practice.

I don’t know any other way to say this…But I love every staff member of this place like they are family. The care and service they have given and still give to our our babies is truely remarkable.Especially to my boy Buster. Darren and the entire team deserve medals for their service. I cannot recommend them enough.

Low rating due to a bad experience trying to get an anxiety REFILL prescription for our rescue dog. Did the right thing and brought our fur baby in to be assessed. Vet agreed, he is suffering from Anxiety (probably from jumping from home to home) and the vet filled a script for him. Now the script is almost out, I phoned to ask for a repeat and unfortunately they can't give me a script to pick up but they have to fill the script at their price (which is more than double the local pharmacy). I wanted to get around paying almost $2 for a pill which he needs daily because I could get it for 28cents from the pharmacy. Unfortunately it feels like this clinic just wants to get as much money from clients and not thinking about the hardship of rescuing an anxious dog. We will be moving to another Vet.

Second visit today, the staff are lovely. The vet has communicated wonderfully. This has helped me greatly understand what's ahead for my 17 year old cat. Changing vets after so long felt a little daunting, but I know now I certainly made the right decision.

Been going here for 30+ years, but lately the newer vets are really bad. Two different vets felt my dogs leg on two separate visits and assured me his cruciate ligament was intact. Went to another vet as it didn’t improve and turns out his cruciate ligament had gone, that vet did the same level of inspection and was shocked the other vets had missed it. He had been suffering in pain for weeks and I wish I had not listened to these incompetent vets. The female vet in particular there I would describe best as a word I shouldn’t say here, she has no customer service manner, is absolutely horrible to the animals and didn’t show my dog any love and care. I emailed the owner after my experiences with her and found him to be dismissive of my concerns in reply, someone I have known since I was very young. Then subsequently my parents went there with our cat and had a similar horrible experience with the same female vet who charged $37 just to have his claws trimmed!! And put “consult” on the docket where there was no consult. Every other vet around Sutherland only charges $20 for the same. And when my mother tried to question it she came out and proceeded to be rude to my elderly pensioner mother about it, not even introducing herself and speaking to her rudely and in a condescending manner. Unfortunately Darren has a problem with his new vet team but he does not seem receptive to it so I cannot recommend this vet to anyone. My dog was in pain for like a month un-necessarily because of their incompetence. I wish I had gone to the emergency vet sooner. A real shame Darren was so dismissive as my family has been customers there for 30+ years. Avoid at all costs if you love your animals.

The most genuine and above & beyond service I have ever received from a Vet Clinic! A huge special shout out to Zara. Today, I saw a Minor Bird in distress and struggling in Sutherland. (Couldn’t fly or walk properly) I knew I couldn’t leave him as he wouldn’t have survived for very long in the wild. I called Sutherland Vets to ask if I could bring him in - to which they said of course! I then proceeded to ask if I could come and get a towel from them as I had nothing on me to catch the bird. The kind lady on the phone (who I think is named Zara) then asked where I was - she then said she will come to where I am and catch the bird. I waited, and Zara came with a towel and caught the bird. I want to express my gratitude and thanks to you Zara, this was truly such a kind gesture of you and one that I will never forget! I have taken many birds/animals whom are injured to vets in the past and never has a vet clinic been so enthusiastic to help the distressed animal and never have I had one offer to come and help catch the animal!! It just shows that this clinic and the staff truly & genuinely care about all animals, even the lovely minor birds! I’m so thankful, and what you did today has really stuck with me. Thank you so so much for helping. Incredible service - & it has really warmed my heart that you and the clinic deeply care to help our wildlife too. Cannot express my gratitude and respect for you enough!
