The Winter Village - Melbourne

Had a great experience here! They book out pretty far in advance but they allow cancellations up to 48 hours before so I kept checking back on the website until an opening popped up. All of the staff were so lovely! The staff made us feel really welcome and helped us take some great photos. Igloos were beautifully decorated and very comfy to lounge in. Loved the food! We did the $49 standard package - highlights were the fried broccoli, mac & cheese croquettes and the vegan ice cream sandwich. My only negative feedback would be that it was A LOT of food. Good value for money but we felt bad that some went to waste, I would have been content with a little less food personally. Definitely recommend checking it out, think of it as the fanciest picnic you'll ever have but you don't have to do any of the work!

I came here for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend and we had the most amazing time! The girl who looked after us (We believe her name was Indi) was so lovely and friendly. The service was flawless, and drinks and food were brought out very quickly. The food was so yum and very filling! The set up and atmosphere was so perfect! I would 100% recommend for anyone to go :)

This event was so much fun! Ice skated for 45 minutes with wonderful views and then had the 3 course meal in an 8 person igloo. The food was delicious and plentiful, we were so full! Highly recommend!

Brilliant atmosphere, the staff are wonderful, food was great and very filling! Great drink options (love that they have great non alcoholic options) wonderful place for kids too!

Had a great time at The Winter Village for my birthday this year. The food was amazing. Big shoutout to the olive dip, arancini ball and cheeseburger spring roll, all were delicious. Drinks were good but we weren't in a drinking mood (it was 11am) but did enjoy the espresso Martini.Was good to get out and do something for my birthday and before we got locked down again thanks to Covid. Would recommend going here with some good friends to have a solid catch up.

A beautiful concept. The food was poor quality and not worth it (although filling). Some of the staff were inexperienced, and some were ok. Staff were friendly enough to place a heater outside the igloo door. The igloos are decorated really nicely. Can get quite cold so make sure you're dressed appropriately as there is no heating in the igloos. This was more about a cool" experience than anything else. Would I go again? No."

Raclette igloo, $840 for 8 people (beware the hidden fees).The only good part was the igloo,) itself, and to pay for a 1.5 hour use and get thrown out after less than 1 hour was disappointing.We waited 15 mins for a 5pm sitting and asked to sit in the cold by a smoky fire from 6pm, when we reluctantly left the igloo at 615pm after a number of reminders that the staff needed to set up for the next session.All but one person given less than a full glass of mulled wine, about 100ml? Then provided only cheese and potatoes as half of us were vegetarian.So...nothing to replace the meat.Wine fridge was stocked and yes, an abundance of cheese.But to spend $100 for less than an hour in an igloo then eat cheese and potatoes seemed like we were being fooled.Don't get me wrong, the location and views were lovely and convenient and the igloo set up itself super cool.Won't do it again, and won't recommend unless you have $$ to burn.

We had so much fun here!! The ice skating was fun, albeit a short session but still very much enjoyed by my family. We had dinner in an igloo and loved our time there. The staff were super lovely and so accommodating with allergies (FYI they were able to provide vegan and gluten free options and were incredibly helpful with everything). We had the 4pm session and it was stunning to watch the sun slowly go down from inside our warm cosy igloo, underneath some blankets and enjoying our pizza. This was such a special day and a memory I will always treasure! Thank you to all the staff who made our evening so much fun.
