Some level spots, toilet block not clean, couple of new BBQ areas not ready to use yet. People have been fishing out on new pontoon.

Good spot. Great views and nice dam. Usually busy now days though so can be packed on a weekend. The Waterways Rangers people skills leave more then a bit to be desired. On a power trip to say the least.

Not a bad place to visit or camp and do some fishing, A good place to bring yourself or your family for a day out or to spend a few nights under the stars.

Carcoar Dam
The Carcoar Dam is a family friendly location. It’s a popular place for people to visit to fish and participate in water sports. There are toilets located near the shoreline of the dam. Plenty of parking. Make sure you head around to the southern side of the dam and drive your vehicle across the wall of the dam. We visited at Christmas time and there were about 40 vans parked on the shoreline - it’s a popular camping location.

Nice picnic area. The dam itself is more of a functional utility than a tourist spot. There is no designated parking or viewing platform. The best viewing point is on either side of the dam wall. If you are in the area, the spot is worth a visit.

A very interesting place to visit. The place has Wind Turbines (Wind Farm) with the lake. The site has a camping location too.The location is picturesque and good location for photography.They can do many other things to this location such as making a little park etc.

Must stop destination. Wind mills, the lake and the dam... Perfect place to stop and sight see. The camping ground was busy but facilities and picnic areas were still available for those not camping.
