Mistaking this place for our booked accommodation (it turned out to be the hotel next door) we pulled in to the driveway. After a short time trying to find someone to check in with, we were approached by a man holding a stubby - clearly inebriated - who was quick to tell us we had no booking. At first we thought he was joking but he then became rude and verbally aggressive. We were a bit stunned, and whilst retreating to our vehicle he continued with a tirade telling us to f*** off. Thankfully we were booked in next door, and they were lovely. New owners. Food is tops and they have done a great job modernising it whilst retaining the old character. Sitting in the restaurant enjoying the view and noticed the proprietor from the Lodge scoping out our vehicle that was parked over the road. Disturbing! Buyer beware.

Great place for a bite and a drink. The staff are amazing. They always go above and beyond. The food is good quality. The prices aren't low but are kinda standard when compared to over places around.

It was clean and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfy and the view was nice. The down fall was the lack of cooling on a 37 degree day and a statement from staff 'that Tassie doesn't need cooling!' It was an outdated room. Generally fine but only stayed because I had no other choice. Probably won't go again

Great spot to sit back and chill over a glass of wine. Decent food, good service, nice venue and great views coming into a great spot.

Hey, for the price it's not bad. Clean sheets, a good TV and shower water pressure that would peel your skin off. Pub is around 20 meters away.

We called an hour before closing asking if it would be ok to have a table in 15 minutes. They happily took in two weary travelers who were keen for a yummy meal. Our hearty and delicious meals did not disappoint! Staff were super friendly and our meals came quickly.

This was a great pub with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. And the bar staff was very cheery and friendly. Our meal was great too.

Lovely restaurant. They willingly accepted us soon before closing and served us super quickly. Great range of options, beautiful atmosphere and the food tasted fantastic!
