Granville Swimming Centre

Love the place and whole experience.I moved to Granville like couple of months ago and saw this beautiful pool area from my apartment. I joined the Granville centre after Christmas and the whole experience has been amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and caring including all the life guards who are vigilant all the time. The pools are huge and really really clean including the change/shower rooms. I love to go there early mornings before work and its much better for me then going to the gym. I am loosing extra weight in an easy and fun way plus its like a water therapy for me. Its better than indoor pools as I love to see the sky and nature while I'm floating and the water in 1.2m pool is generally warm as I go around 5am so I know what I am talking about. Lastly, loads of parking spots outside the centre. Definitely would recommend to all as its good for every age group from kids to elderly people.

Friday prayers (Jummah) at 1:15 PM, clean toilets with hot water after couple of minutes of use. Big car park next to it. You can call at the given number to confirm details before arrival. 02 9637 1593Edit: Friday prayers is not always abailable. Just call and check before going. Thanks

Kids are enrolled in learn to swim here at Granville. I would rate 1 star but 3 star are only due to good instructors.They recorded our credit card details over the phone to enrol saying there is no fix term for swimming lessons from this year - which is not true. As I recently noticed this on their website saying it can be for minimum 8 weeks (such info should be sent to customers via email if the staff is unaware & taking card details for enrolment on phone). Multiple incorrect charges & double charges on card. Make sure you check yours to confirm you are being charged correctly. Their priority is to use Credit card and No active kids voucher credit used even after provided. Also, rescheduled lessons aren’t automatically used (waiting for it to expire) until you request them to book.No accountability, clear invoices or any correspondence sent or email in relation to billing and charges being made.Most staff at the reception are not as helpful and have no clue when you ask any question on billing and always asked you to email.Disappointing & time consuming experience overall for this year.

I have been to Granville many times over the years and have never had issues. Today I went and my pass had expired as it is only valid for one year. I haven't been for a while due to covid. The other issue is they don't accept cash so had problems getting coins for the locker. The locker I tried to use was broken! The staff are friendly and everything was clean. It would be great if they could extend the 20 visit pass so you have 2 years to use this rather than one year.

Has no slide or any thing Fun but some how it was actually REALLY FUN. And I don’t go Olympic Park swimming centre anymore this is way more and better and even cheaper. But the only thing the that that the showers have no doors have to inprove on that.recommend to all family’s out there.Kind regards

Love this swim centre. Everyones so polite and helpful. 4 pools to accommodate all different age groups. Very clean. The best part i could see the kids from any part of the swim centre no matter which pool they went in. Felt safe

Clean, water is heated which is excellent on a cloudy day, little chlorine. I just wish they would add more umbrellas over the pools, it would be great when swimming on a very hot day

Great heated swimming pools. Has 3 pools in total, 50m lap pool (1.3m - 1.9m deep) with steps and hand rails leading into water, 25m pool (1.2m deep) with ramp leading and hand rail leading into water and shallow play area to the side, plus a seperate kids pool (up to 0.4m deep) with water fountains. There is a food shop but not always open with plenty of seating areas and a few tables. Large change rooms with hot water showers as well as two seperate rooms for disabled patrons or young families.

Excellent pool. Clean water, less crowded and good atmosphere.
