I went to this school for over 8 years and it was horrible. Do not send your child here. I would give this school a 0 star but thats not possible, so i giev it a 1star

Don’t send your kids here. It will turn them into disobedient monsters. I have even noticed some of the kids smoking cigarettes while conversating with teachers in the yard.

I live in one of the unit directly behind the school, with a single fence between myself and the upper playground. On a daily basis we have unsupervised children swinging off our fence, throwing stones, yelling profanities, and at one stage had them jump the fence and rummage around our yard. Never a teacher to be seen! Either laziness or incompetence. Maybe both? Good luck sending your children here.

As a past student of this school I can say without a doubt that it is the best thing that ever happened to me.Not only are the people there, and everyone I have met as part of the community wonderful, generous, giving people, but the curriculum and support from the staff as well as from other students allows you to thrive as a person and I cannot wait to be able to send my daughter there.

Do not send your kids to this school!If they have a learning difference (diagnosed) they will be discriminated against! Their professional diagnosis will be ignored.The teachers make up their own mind about what they think the problem is instead. The teachers are not held accountable for their actions by anyone and any formal complaints are ignored.Make no mistake this is a business, looking to make money.period. Your child’s needs will be secondary to that. They should be shut down.

Gorgeous school, wonderful environment, an oasis of childhood in a world that sometimes forget to let children have one.

Students aren't supervised, staff don't seem concerned that their primary students leave school property through drain tunnels, come onto private property to torment my dog and throw rocks and sticks at my house and the houses surrounding us. It seems that students are never in class as they are always the same kids at mine and neighbours fences trying to get over or damage property. The responsibility falls on the staff, however the students are given the freedom to do what they like, which is likely that this will ultimately transpire through their adult life. Disgraceful staff and I am honestly unsure how academically that school operates given there doesn't seem to be any learning with staff happening. If you need a babysitter for school hours, this school is your best bet for children to have complete freedom and control regardless of safety issues to do what they please, but if you are wanting your child to have an education I would suggest sending them elsewhere

It is hard to find a place to start in describing how wonderful a school it was and is in my experience! I spent the entirety of my schooling at MRSS from 4 years of age until 18. The strength of friendship and community developed throughout has stayed strong into my mid 20's and continues to grow. I was able to academically excel during VCE and subsequent university Science studies, which I attribute greatly to my willingness to ask the questions why" and "how" - regardless of the status or how dogmatic who or what I was questions was - which was a quality inherently fostered by my schooling.I am lucky enough to still spend time coaching at the school
