I have never before written a review for a garden centre - but these guys are great. Helpful, freely provide excellent advice, and their plants are healthy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Allans garden centre has a massive range of plants at a great price, very friendly helpful staff. A gift shop just so much available to purchase in one location that it's so worth a visit

We brought a hibiscus flower from them 4 months ago. The plant died and we took it to the store for a refund. What did they say? “Your Hibiscus died from frost.” FROST?! Our plant based flower doesn’t even die in frost, And this is a tree based plant. Dies in frost? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Their customer service is so bad, they blamed it on us not planting it properly. If so, why don’t the 20 odd other plants in our yard die?! They said it can be planted outside, we planted it in a warm spot, while the other plant based ones are planted in the open, and the tree based one dies?! NEVER buying from them ever again. Highly unreccommended.

You have to love great honest old-fashioned service. Beautiful plants, products etc with helpful friendly staff that go that extra step. Pleasure to deal with caring people.

Great first stop for all your gardening needs. Allan's staff are always friendly and openly offer you the advice you need, when you need it. While it is a small nursery, Allan's makes up for it with quality products across a wide range. Definitely the friendliest nursery in the Launceston area.
