The GT - Gumlu Tavern
The GT is well & truly worth the stop. Great service, delicious food & cold beverages at incredibly good prices compared to others. The campground behind the GT is very well maintained, quiet & relaxing watching the cows & Guinea Fowl. At $15/n for a powered site, you can’t go wrong. Toni is very welcoming & a great host. Highly recommended 10/10.

Great stop for a night or two. Amenities closed for repair so self contained only. Pub is closed for Christmas New Year period so we will definitely stop again to have a meal and a couple of coldies. Unpowered sites free. Power & Water only $10pn. About half a dozen covered slabs too. Worth a visit.

Had a fabulous time at this spot yesterday. Great value camping, food and drinks. Friendly staff and locals.Super clean amenities too.Definitely recommend!

One of the best pubs I’ve been to amazing team members the food is cheap delicious and fresh. If your travelling through definitely a stop to put on the map.

The GT - Gumlu Tavern
What a great place to stay!We were there on Melbourne Cup day and they put on a lovely luncheon, plenty of sweeps and lots of fun.We were made feel very welcome even though we beat the locals and took hom the Gumlu Cup.We stayed there again on our return trip and the meals were fantastic.Keep up the good work guys.

Great place to get a feed. Steak burger was good. Owners were under the pump with stranded travellers, but still managed to offer friendly service with a smile ☺

Best free stay. Friendly people great dog George at the Tavern. Lovely large sites to pull up. Dog friendly and made feel very welcome.

The GT - Gumlu Tavern
What a find. We were travelling south from Cairns to Brisbane and needed an overnight stop. Decided on Gumlu Tavern which has a small van park at the rear. The Tavern has fantastic reasonably priced meals and drinks and so far has been a highlight of our travels. Thoroughly recommend a stop here.
